After going over the list of nominees, I have to agree with some of the other comment in here. I started off watching nothing but CBS soaps and then I started watching two ABC soaps, AMC and OLTL and I have to say that there is certaintly a huge difference in the story lines and actors between CBS and ABC soaps. I no longer watch CBS soaps because they weren't interesting anymore. I mean after the allegedly death of Drucilla Winters on Y&R, the show for me has been a downer. So in December 2007 I stopped watching Y&R. Mean while OLTL was very heated with all the back-to-back action. I still watch OLTL and AMC because they are still interesting to me. I don't know who are the people responsible for nominating these actors and soaps, but it seems to me that the same people who were nominated last year and won is also nominated this year. How come Kathy Briar (Marcie McBain)on OLTL wasn't nominated. I think she did a hell of a job with the Tommy story line. I also think that OLTL should win outstanding drama this year, simply because they are outstanding. Thank you.

Well I, for one, expect to stand and cheer at least a couple of times when I watch the show. I watch Y & R and ATWT religiously. But my fondest wish is for my darling Peter Bergman to win....man will my fingers be crossed!! He's my fave among all the rest. And Peter is such a wonderful actor who plays such a dynamo, yet a dynamo with a tender heart (as his father's ghost will attest...he turned Jack around completely!!) Go get 'em this year, my Smilin' Jack!!

Oh Btw I Wonder If Any PBS Children's Shows Got Emmy Noms Too?.

PALEASE!!!! What a joke. Days of Our Lives deserved more nominations and we all know it. Alli Sweeney and James Scott should have,at the very least, gotten nominations.
