i can't believe this crap. yeah I'm satisfied that GH got a nomination for best
drama/writing/directing/casting.."etc'... but come on? GH has the best actors then any soap on TV. and it so happened that Luke(TG) for the 50th time got a nom again this year? what the hell. I'm beginning to think this really is a popularity contest,. everyone loves Luke from his days in the 80's till now. he's definitely a fan favorite regardless his status on the show. but what about Sonny/jason? carly/jerry/AZ/johnny/trevor?..and so on. is it me or does it sound like bias people are overlooking the Actors on GH because their involved with the mob. or somehow related to the mob? i can't remember the last time Steve Burton/Maurice Bernard won a nom? currect me if I'm wrong. was it in 2003 mb won? anyhow. GH actors rocked in 2007. why they got ignored is anybody's guess...either way i think it's pretty screwed up how the Emmy system works.

wow...i have never been more disgusted with the emmys than i have this year. how in the world did gh get snubbed out of all the nominees?
they had the best storylines..especially nikolas with emilys death, and jerry with the metro court, and carly. these actors are truly incredible. even if the storyline is not good they make it better with their performance.

i have watched the emmys every year, but i have had enough. every single nomination was a cbs nominee this year. is cbs paying the emmys off? thats what it seems like

i am so mad, i am lost for words. when i watch y&r every now and then i fall asleep. how is it possible that they have so many nominees

this is the worst yr for emmys ever...im done with this crap. u choose favorites instead of choosing the performance of the actors. its degrading to every actor that deserves to win.

I am sick and tired of CBS getting everything. The awards need to be broadcasted on a different network. How can 3 actresses from one soap be in 1 category. Ive never heard of two of them. Kirsten Storms should have been nominated and won for younger lead actress. Kristen Alderson should have also been nominated. I am so sick of Jennifer Landon and Cristian LeBlanc winning every year. Where is the professionalism of the academy? I think the emmy's should have at least some VIEWERS imput. We are the ones who watch them, we would know who the best are.

ok, i just have to say that i agree with those of you who feel like this should just be the CBS Emmy Awards. y&r is always on top with number of noms ans wins and it's just unfair. i've seen some y&r from time to time, and idk what the hell all the hype is. to me, its not very good and i cant stand some of the characters. in my bold opinion, GH was SEVERELY overlooked this year b/c there are a lot of others from the show that deserve to be on this list. im really hoping that tony geary takes it home for all of GH this year. as for DAYS, im sooooo incredibly happy that thaao penghlis, darin brooks, rachel melvin and judi evans made the cut!!! DAYS was actually really good this year and although i feel that kristian alfonso, bryan datillo and ali sweeney should have at least made the final nominations, im still glad that they made the pre-nom (at least, i think they all did, i havent seen that list in a while) and that DAYS is finally on the map this year!!!

How can GH be so popular and get snubbed and only get 1 actor nominated???Why is CBS so dominate? I don't under stand they have one popular soap on that network, ABC and NBC (with only one soap on its network now) are more popular. Who picks these nominees? I won't be watching this year!!! Looking forward to the soap opera digest awards....

I cannot believe that Katherine Kelly Lang didnot get nominated for her performances after 'Brooke'got raped on the Bold and the Beautiful! What does she have to do to get a nomination. She has been overlooked since the middle 90's!

Through all my time of watching soaps, CBS has always had the most nominations, but GH really deserved more, especially Nikolas, and Emily. I hope they take home best Soap, they deserve it.

Please do something to boost the nominations for DAYS -- I'm addressing the producers, directors, writers, etc...! Come on!!!
