While we realize it’s hard for soap fans everywhere to give up their daily dose of their favorite soap – even for some hot summer fun – we have an event that you can attend without having to miss a single second of your show!

Come Saturday, June 7, 2008, stars from ABC and CBS will battle it out at this year’s 10th Annual Tammy Rubin Rice Celebrity Softball Game to support Shorefront Friends for Hospice, Inc! Come early, come late, it won’t matter… some of the hottest daytime stars will be on the field battling for their team to make for some great entertainment! So far, actors slated to appear include All My Children's Amanda Baker (Babe Carey), As the World Turns's Dylan Bruce (Dr. Chris Hughes), Agim Kaba (Aaron Snyder), Billy Magnussen (Casey Hughes), Michael Park (Jack Snyder), Austin Peck (Brad Snyder), Mick Hazen (Parker Snyder), Ewa Da Cruz (Vienna Hyatt), Jake Silbermann (Noah Mayer) and John Prescott (Mike), Guiding Light's John Driscoll (Henry Cooper Bradshaw), E.J. Bonilla (Rafe Rivera), Nicole Forester (Cassie Winslow) and Bonnie Dennison (Susan "Daisy" Lemay), and One Life to Live’s Farah Fath (Gigi Morasco), Kamar de los Reyes (Antonio Vega), John-Paul Lavoisier (Rex Balsom), Kathy Brier (Marcie McBain), BethAnn Bonner (Talia Sahid), Sean Ringgold (Shaun), and Austin Williams (Shane Morasco).

When: Saturday, June 7, 2008; Gates Open at 11 AM with the game starting at 11:30 AM

Where: Midwood High School Field at Avenue K and East 16th Street in Brooklyn, New York
