Guiding Light - DAILY UPDATES

Dinah runs into Matt at the gym. She wants to take Maureen out. He already has plans with her. They call Vanessa to sort it out. He admits that Maureen misses her and the mansion. He hates the place himself. She says that there will be other homes. Ashlee calls Dinah for a meeting. "It's okay not to be okay," he tells Dinah. She claims that she doesn't understand and walks out.

Daisy shows Ashlee the case files she lifted from Marina. She tells her all about the boy, Trey, who is a drug dealer who works as a busboy at Towers. They walk in and find Trey. Daisy asks him why he isn't at Yale. As they chat, Ashlee laughs nervously until Daisy sends her away. She suggests that she and Trey hang out and party a little bit.

At the station, Mallet tells Marina that he isn't taking any grief about the pizza they're ordering tonight. She says that they are 'easy' together because they were friends first. He gives her a kiss. She searches for case file from the task force without luck. They go to Harley's to eat and decide what to do with Clayton's offer on the house. They bicker about it again. She challenges him to play a board game to decide who will decide. They play 'Twister' until they collapse and Ashlee walks in. She tells them that Daisy is off trying to help Rafe. They get worried.

Daisy and Trey go over to his place. She pulls out some cash. As he reaches into his stash to get her drugs, she takes out her phone and snaps a picture. He catches her and is not pleased. Mallet and Marina come knocking at the door. Marina calls in but there's no answer. They pull out their guns and burst in. The room is already empty. Meanwhile, Trey is dragging Daisy down through the basement of the building.

Trey throws Daisy in a little room and tries to figure out what to do. Daisy tells him that she was just taking his picture because she thinks he's hot. He opens her bag to look for cigarettes but finds the police file instead. Moments later, Marina and Mallet burst in and find him with a gun on Daisy. As they pull out their guns, Mallet pushes Marina aside, telling her that he loves her.

Olivia arrives at Company and orders some champagne. She needs to celebrate: She's the new face of Galaxy Hotels! He pops a cork. She giggles and they toast. "Champagne gives me heartburn," she says. He tells her that Natalia was trying to get a second mortgage.

While Natalia stands in the hall outside of Russo's office, Rafe calls. She's uncomfortable but takes it. They worry about each other; he wishes that she had more fun in her life. She promises to come and see him soon. The secretary leads her down to Vince's office. He soon arrives and closes the door behind him. She asks him what her son's chances are. He tells her that he knows how to play this game. After asking her to stay and discuss the bill, 'like adults', he sends his secretary home for the afternoon. He offers Natalia a 'pro bono' accommodation. Olivia calls to interrupt. He tells her that he's busy working out some kinks with Natalia and cuts the call short. That leaves Olivia worrying. Seeing that she's upset, Buzz drags her off to Cedars. Meanwhile, Vince takes Natalia's hand and asks her if it's 'true what they say about catholic girls'.

Dinah arrives at Company. Buzz asks her what's wrong. "Why is everyone asking that today?" she asks. Ashlee arrives and asks what's wrong. Dinah shakes her head. They order food and Dinah tells Ashlee that nothing is wrong; she is just reinventing herself. They begin sorting through her bills and talking about the new teen task force. Ashlee thinks they should cover it. She lets it slip that Daisy and Marina are involved. Dinah's appalled by the whole idea and thinks that they should do a piece on Marina's bad judgment. "I've taken the high road with little miss Marina but I think there are some things that she shouldn't be allowed to get away with," Dinah decides.

Buzz and Olivia are at Cedars. As he looks for a nurse, she worries about Natalia and leaves before she can be checked out.

Dinah and Ashlee go to the gym. Matt is still there. Ashlee begins babbling to him until he leaves. They both think he's very cute, but they need to focus. Ashlee just wants to focus on cute boys. Dinah picks up some weights.

Rafe calls Buzz to tell him what a hard time he is having in prison. He begs him not to say anything to his mom. Buzz tells him about his time in the army and how he didn't think he could live with some of the things he did. He always ran from his problems before, but now he's too old and too tired. Rafe worries about his mother. Buzz tells him she's just tired.

In his office, Vince asks Natalia about her life and tells her that there is no shame in doing everything for her son. She asks where the restroom is and goes down the hall. After washing her hands and staring in the mirror, she returns. As Vince begins kissing her, Olivia bursts through the door. "Back off!" she barks. As she rants, he says that Rafe is a lost cause and Natalia came onto him. Natalia runs out and Olivia follows.

Natalia and Olivia return to Company. Natalia's angry that she just cost her the best lawyer in town. Olivia asks her what she would have done to pay for him. "Nothing you wouldn't do," Natalia shoots back. Olivia says they're two very different people. Throwing up her arms, Olivia doesn't know why she bothers trying to help and storms off.

Olivia arrives at Towers to meet Decker. Reporters are already waiting and begin to flash pictures of her as she stands for the unveiling of the new campaign featuring her as the face of Galaxy Hotels.
