Guiding Light - DAILY UPDATES

Mallet is in the woods picking flowers with Daisy. Remy snags a beer from Frank and Coop. He sits down and Marina joins him. He talks about how much he misses Ava; every day is full of regrets. She takes his picture of him so that he can send it to Ava. Mallet arrives with flowers in his hands. Remy walks off. The couple starts making out before joining Coop and Frank to empty beer cans so they can be tied to the back of the car.

Jeffrey punches Josh into the ground and demands that he leave before Reva finds them and it ruins her day. Josh punches back and refuses to go. Reva runs out yelling at them to stop. Jeffrey says that Reva has enough to worry about right now. She informs Josh that her cancer might be back. Josh is horrified. Jeffrey tells her that she looks beautiful and leaves them alone to talk. Tearfully, she tells Josh that she doesn't want the children to know yet. He loves her as much now as he did before. If she had been honest with him last time, she wouldn't be marrying Jeffrey today. She tells him that her choice has nothing to do with him. "I don't belong here," he concludes, offering to go as long as she tells him the test results. He doesn't know where he will go, but he has to leave.

Reva wanders across the lawn to Jeffrey. He apologizes for fighting. "What woman wouldn't want two handsome men fighting over her on her wedding day?" she smiles. They walk together to the cars and their gathered guests. They sort out who is driving with who. When they arrive at the house, they discover that it is being demolished. Reva imagines this must be a sign. Jeffrey says it's not a sign; they still have time and everything they need. "Okay quick! Before the car breaks down," she gasps. They jump in the car and drive off.

"What did she do? Kick your butt?" Billy asks when he sees his brother climbing out of his truck. Josh admits that Jeffery beat him up and announces that he's giving up Reva: She loves Jeffrey and the cancer may be back. He knows how hard it was for Billy to go through that with her the last time, that's why he asked for permission to tell him. Billy says she'll be okay.

Josh sits on the porch of his church and talks to God. He thought that he belonged in this place and his calling would give him answers but it has only led to more questions. He has no idea what is next for him... He gets a message from Shayne asking to see him. He thanks God for the sign and asks that Reva be looked out for.

Everyone gets together in the field. They are being eaten alive by bugs, Frank has food poisoning and groundhogs ate the cupcakes. "I hate nature," Jeffrey shrugs. Buzz gets off the phone and says that the minister had a family emergency... and deer ate all the flowers. "We have us," Jeffrey says, refusing to let anything ruin the day. They walk over to a hot dog stand and order food.

Mallet and Marina sit down and talk about weddings. They both like it when they are thrown together and more about the people than the party. He asks her why she didn't marry any of the other guys she was with. She doesn't want to talk about her fugitive ex-boyfriends.

Josh shows up on Cassie's doorstep. She's surprised that he isn't breaking up a wedding. He's come to say goodbye. She says that she'll explain things to RJ. He doesn't know what is next for him, but he knows they didn't fall apart because of Reva or cheating, but because he's been as lost as she has been. It's time for him to go away and figure some things out.

Jeffrey and Reva sit on a picnic blanket. She worries about the pressure she is putting on him. He takes becoming her husband seriously and asks her to focus on the wedding. She walks over to Daisy as she prepares to walk her down the aisle. She thanks her granddaughter for not bringing Grady. Daisy tells her not to get used to it. Reva asks her to practice walking her to the beer. Taking a beer, she joins Jeffrey and they decide to "get to it".

Jeffrey explains that, as the lawyer, he will be marrying them. Jeffrey asks Remy to stand with him. Remy would be honored. They break into groups. Daisy walks Reva between the guests as they sit on the ground. After joining Jeffrey in front of them all, he begins to improvise a speech and vows. "I've heard enough, I do," she says. He then asks himself the vows and tells everyone that living life with her has been incredible. It started out as fun, but it's still fun because he loves her. Before they can kiss, Daisy reminds them about the rings. They laugh and he slips one on her finger, pronouncing them husband and wife and kissing her with a smile. They rush to the beer cooler, grab drinks and she toasts to Jeffrey and finding love at this time in her life. Grabbing her bouquet, she turns and throws it. Lillian ducks out of the way and Marina catches it.

After putting on some Greek music, the guests join hands and dance around the beer. An exhausted Buzz stumbles over to Lillian and tells her that if Jeffrey and Reva can survive a wedding like this, they can survive anything.

At Cross Creek, Reva and Jeffrey nestle on the couch. He never dreamt that he would even be married and tells her that he knows this is only the first night of many for them.

The next day, Jeffrey and Reva go to the hospital to get the results of her tests. She's nauseated as she walks down the hall. She rushes into the washroom. He stops the doctor and asks if he can tell him anything. Dr. Hendrix informs him that it's good news: There is no cancer...and she's pregnant. Jeffrey's shocked.
