As Long as I'm in the car.

Friday, August 29 2008
Bill and Lizzie find Alan, Dinah has second thoughts, Daisy looks for a job, Olivia has a proposition for Grady.

Dinah calls Alan while he walks though Central Park. She informs him that her brother is in the city searching for him. She reminds Alan that she isn't doing all of this for him; she's trying to teach her brother a lesson in appreciation. Alan is confident that he still has Gus on his side.

At the hotel in New York, Bill tells Lizzie that they've always wanted the same thing. She wonders why they aren't together then... He reminds her that she is there to find her grandfather and he will help her. After Alan is taken care of, they can concentrate on their relationship. They kiss. He shoves a chair against the door and asks her for five minutes. As they make out, there's a noise at the door. It's only the maid. Lizzie tells Bill that he stinks and needs to take a shower. Once he goes into the washroom, she goes out and asks the maid if she's seen Alan. She spotted him across the street. Lizzie tips her and runs off.

When Bill walks out of the shower, he's surprised to find Alan in the room. He tells him that Lizzie is searching for him. Alan says that he's fine and has an important meeting. He's not trying to get his company back, he assures Bill; it's much bigger than that. Alan prepares for his meeting with the Blackthorne group and tells him that this is not about stocks - it's about faith. He's sure that Bill is jealous of his faith; nothing is impossible for him now. Bill is sure that Alan is crazy and sends him off with a smile.

Back in Springfield, Daisy has to ask the clerk to help her run her card to pay for gas. While the clerk's back is turned, Grady swipes chocolate bars for them. She tells them that they need to get jobs. He smirks and asks her if she is going to see Rafe again. She says no and wants to go looking for a job right away. He suggests they split up and meet later.

Olivia walks into Company. Buzz runs over and hugs her. She orders a beer and tells him that she's been a fool: She trusted Alan and believed in his visions. She's kicking herself for believing in something so absurd. He refuses to get her a beer this early in the day. She leaves to find someone who will.

Daisy goes into Company and sits with Dinah. She's skipping Reva's wedding because Grady is banned. Dinah congratulates her on standing her ground; family isn't everything. Daisy rants about how her family always tries to control her life. Dinah complains that her brother wouldn't pay attention to her if she was on fire. Daisy explains that her boyfriend needs a job. Dinah asks who he is. Reluctantly, Daisy explains it's Grady. Dinah has to side with Daisy's family on this one. Daisy claims he's changed and thought that Dinah, of all people, would understand. Although slightly insulted by this, Dinah asks her about his skills. He's never had a job, but he can drive. "As long as I'm in the car," Dinah says.

Daisy tries throughout the afternoon to get Grady a job but Dinah finally admits that she isn't allowed to hire anyone. Buzz drags Daisy away to ice cupcakes. Bill calls and tells his sister that he found Alan and he has lost his mind. He's sure that Alan's meeting will be a flop and he'll be finished. Lizzie returns as he says this. He gets off the phone. She worries about Alan ruining the Spaulding name with his crazy talk. He tells her to take a shower and calm down. When she goes in, he sneaks out. Bill tracks Alan down before his meeting can start. Alan says he can't stop him now. Meanwhile, Lizzie walks out of the shower, finds Bill gone and guesses he's double crossed her.

Dinah finds Daisy icing cupcakes in Company. She encourages her to go to the wedding. Daisy reminds her about the chat they just had. Dinah swipes a cupcake, promising that, maybe, she can hire Grady...

Cassie finds Cyrus fixing her floor. She tells him if he wants to help he can take his brother and leave. He's not ready to leave town: He's still waiting for Harley. She doubts that she'll be coming back after what they did to her. She tells him where her jewels are so he won't mess up the whole house and then leaves to run some errands. Grady shows up. "If you want to nail her that's great... as long as that's all it is," he says. Cyrus tells him that unless Cassie is back on her feet, no one will ever forgive him. Grady continues to bother his brother while he fixes a chair. He's sure that Cassie will never forgive him; she'll end up with Cyrus and he'll be pushed out. Cyrus tells him he's got it all wrong. Grady guesses he is only sticking around for Harley. "She's not even coming back for her own daughter. You think she'll come back for you?" Grady asks. He walks out.

Olivia goes to Towers and drinks a martini. Cassie walks in and asks her what she's doing; she's not supposed to be drinking. Olivia insists that she's only having one. Cassie tells her that she and Josh are getting divorced... and it wasn't about Reva, but he does want Reva back, she admits. That sounds familiar to Olivia. Cassie fills her in on Jeffrey and Josh battling over Reva. Olivia fakes applause. Cassie leaves. Olivia drinks. Grady sits down next to her. They have dirty martinis. He tells her his qualifications. "I'm pretty much capable of anything," he says, making a pass at her. "How much do you want this job?" she smiles, inviting him up to her room. When they get there, he asks her where her kid is. She's at a sleepover. Olivia hates being alone and wants some companionship. As she reaches out to him, she becomes faint. He helps her sit down. She offers him a hundred bucks to give the Bible that Josh gave her back to him. "Are you sure you're okay?" he asks. She has everything she needs, she claims, sending him off. Grady runs into Daisy down the hall and shows her the money he got, offering to buy her dinner.

Cyrus finds Cassie in her kitchen pounding on a frozen chicken. He asks her what the chicken did. She rants about Reva and how she always comes out on top with every guy. "Guess you better keep an eye on RJ," he jokes. She laughs. He offers his friendship again. She says it's too late. Later, she apologizes for snapping at him and says that they could have been friends. He smiles and asks her to start over. They go to Towers and play at being strangers, introducing themselves to each other again.

The show was really boring 2day, the only funny part was what Dinah had said, after that i fell asleep on it.

Was Grady actually going to sleep with Olivia for money? He is such a creep. And yesterday, when he was with Daisy and he only had on underwear and his hair was in a ponytail, he looked like a cupie doll. How could anyone be attracted to that?

Where are Zack and Jude supposed to be with Harley gone? They really should recast her, she just seems like a loser being gone while her kids need her.

THE wedding is too close for comfort. Love Jeffery, but Josh and Reva need to have a great story line.

I used to love Fridays, because of the cliff hanger...WOW...WHAT HAPPENED ? I do not want Reva to marry Jeffrey....If she is sick again...Josh should be given the chance to take care of Reva...in LOVE STYLE.
