I Want you Back.

Thursday, August 21 2008
Olivia offers to help Rafe, Daisy meets with Rafe again, Remy is frustrated with being cut out of Ava's life.

Remy searches for Olivia at The Beacon. She ends up finding him on her doorstep. She's still angry at him for telling Ava about the baby without her being there. They argue; she doesn't want him to see her daughter again. He asks her to give her some cards he's written. "The only connection the two of you had was Max... you need to stop. You're just a bad memory," she says, demanding that he stay away. She shuts the door in his face. He keeps knocking. She leaves. He follows and she becomes faint. He offers her his medical skills. She points out that he's just an EMT and that's barely a step above a school nurse. She stomps off and he calls Mel to get in touch with Jeffrey

Jeffrey is annoyed when the police prove to be useless at keeping Alan under surveillance. The cop explains that this is supposed to be Marina's case but she hasn't shown up for work yet.

Marina wakes up in bed with Mallet. She realizes that she's left Daisy alone in her apartment and there's a good chance she could be with Grady. Anxious, they start to dress to run out and check. Jeffrey calls to order her over to Harley's to search for Alan.

Daisy lays in bed alone at Marina's. Ashlee comes to the door to see Marina after receiving a text message from her. Seeing Daisy there, she's ready to walk away. Daisy explains that she sent her the message and she misses her. She admits that Ashlee is still the only person she trusts. Ashlee agrees to come in, paint her toenails and have a heart to heart. Daisy tells her that Rafe is back. They gossip. Ashlee is impressed that Rafe seems to have come back for her. Daisy doubts it but admits that he came to see her before his mother. Daisy insists that she's with Grady now and the timing couldn't be worse for Rafe to show up. Ashlee suggests that Grady is just a replacement for Rafe... and all the other people who vanished all at once. Maybe all of her feelings for Grady are her actual feelings for Rafe, she suggests.

Jeffery, Mallet and Marina barge into Harley's house and begin searching around. Jeffrey explains his new case. Marina points out that Lizzie is even less reliable than Daisy and they've just broken into her house. He finds a train schedule and guesses they've left town. He leaves and the two cops call Daisy to look for Alan. No one tells Daisy anything about Harley's house so she's no help. She tells Marina that she's at The Beacon with Ashlee and then jokes about spilling nail polish before hanging up.

Jeffrey returns to the station and orders a search of the database for everything involving Alan. The cop slouches off to work. Remy arrives and tells Jeffrey that he still wants to see Ava and Olivia is forbidding it. Jeffrey says that's all up to Olivia right now. He asks Remy out to have a drink with him. They go over to Towers. Jeffrey tries to make small talk. It doesn't work. Remy talks about how he feels like he's made everything worse by sending Ava email and postcards. Jeffrey says she never received any. They guess that Olivia hid them all.

At the boarding house, Natalia can barely believe her son has returned... and he looks so grown up. She asks how things went and wonders where Harley is. Harley doesn't even know he is back, he explains. She was right to call him and everything will be fine; he has faith in Alan's Gus visions, he says. Sitting down, she tells him that she has to call the police. He tells her that he's already seen Daisy. She wants to call Frank and put together a plan. He tells her not to rush things. As they argue, Olivia comes to the door and sees them together. "I'm not here," Rafe says. Natalia walks into the hall with Olivia. Left alone, Rafe calls Daisy and asks her to meet with him.

Olivia and Natalia sit at Company. Olivia is surprised that she is so panicked and isn't just enjoying having her son back. Natalia giggles at having him back but worries that he has faith in Alan's visions. She believes in them too, she admits, they've come true after all, but she thinks they need to take precautions to keep Rafe safe. Olivia wants to help; it's what Gus would have wanted. When Natalia goes back upstairs, she's disturbed to find that her son is gone again.

Daisy waits for Rafe at Harley's empty house. He arrives as she worries about his safety. He tells her that being in a foreign country gave him time to think and he blames himself for much of what happened between them. He felt like he was always being forced to choose but he should have chosen her. "I want you back. I love you," he says.

Jeffrey meets Olivia at the mansion. She points out the memorial. He brings up her ban on Remy. He won't argue against it; he doesn't know how to help. She suggests that if they can't help their own daughter, maybe they can help someone else's child: Rafe. She tells him he's back in town. He offers to handle it. She suggests that he is spreading himself too thin and will end up failing everyone including himself. Her legs suddenly give way and he has to help her to the couch. She says she isn't sick, it's Gus speaking to her through his heart. Jeffrey is amused. She says it's just a karmic kick she gets from Gus once and awhile. Gus wants them to protect Rafe. He thinks that's crazy. She says it's not as crazy as going after justice for Tammy. It's his job, he says. She thinks he's simply punishing himself by pushing himself too hard.

Marina sits with Remy at the bar in Towers. They catch up. He doesn't know what to do. They recall their days living with Tammy; she would know what to do, she suggests. Marina recollects her old conversations with her friend and how much her advice helped her. He tells her she could have used his advice when she was dating Cyrus. She agrees, but she doesn't have the same worries with Mallet. She advises Remy to think of what anyone she's ever dated would do and do the opposite. He gets up and calls Rick to tell him that Olivia might be in trouble.

Natalia goes down to the station to see Mallet. He apologizes for the way he dealt with the Gus situation and probably should have known that if he was up to no good, he had good reason. With some difficulty, she agrees to trust him and tells him that Rafe is already back and putting himself in danger. "I want you to arrest my son," she says.

Boring Episode! Where's Josh and Reva?

i wonder why Natalia is asking Mallet to arrest Rafe? i really don't care about this whole Daisy/Rafe/Grady fiasco. can't wait for the fall to come so that the so-called teen storyline can wrap up.

and as much money as Olivia makes from running the Beacon, why does she live there? get a place of your own. wait, didn't she live at the Spaulding Mansion. A little confused, can someone clear that up for me?

and why is Harley's house still unpainted? one day i might just drive to the CBS studios in Manhatten with a can of paint from Sears and paint it myself! LOL

I love Josh, trying to get Reva back...I just LOVE it...I want to see more of Reva and Josh. I could not stand Josh with that crazy Cassie. I do like Jeffrey with Cassie though. But it has always been Josh and Reva forever. It is about time Cassie found that out too. Josh has finally came to his senses.!!

I cant stand to see Olivia suffering again. I am so glad I was able to speed through Marina and Mallett Yuck! So mis-matched and no chemstry. It find and dandy they are a real couple in real life, but it does not mean that will work for the story and there charecters. They need to start bulding interesting sl for there interesting chaercters. Alan needs a new sl.Rick needs a women that is not Beth or Mel I wish they would bring Roxie Shayne back. Olivia and Jeffery just hurry up and get back together we know it is going to happen.Grady crawl back underneth the rock you came from. Cyrus and Cassie get together I saw the beginings of that set up.The Gus and Tammy thing is getting old just put that puppy to bed.I am surprised they havn't cannonized Tammy the st of Springfield. Dont get me wrong I liked Tammy and wished she would not have been written off. But Gosh give it a rest.Harley really needs to send for Daisy now that Rafe is not w/ her she does not have to hide anymore and her daughter needs attention.
Well Im done with my rant for today. I really wish the writers would read our board so they could get a clue and raise the ratings.

Will they be recasting Harley now? I really can't believe that the writers had her leave the way she did without any worry about her own kids, just Rafe. I mean how young are her two boys? What kind of mother would do that? Plus the idea that her family supports her running off with Rafe is just weird. Hopefully he and Daisy can ride off into the sunset and off the show, I just don't care for either character very much.

I kind of like the idea of Cassie and Cyrus together, it could be interesting. Josh and Reva are so great on screen, just like a real life couple!

Hi YR_GH_ATWT_Lover long time no read. Yes the paint situation is driving me nuts to. Does GL even have a studio anymore or do they just wonder around N.Y. filming where people will let them? In the parks, and in peoples front yards. It’s like they are homeless.

What is with the new Rafe? He doesn’t look anything like Gus or Nat. He looks like a hardened criminal. Is this the best that Daisy can do? Get her and them off the show.

I like Reva with Jeffery. Josh will just leave her again.

I also hate Marina and Mallett. She needs to find someone her own age for a change.

YR_GH_ATWT_Lover, I too thought today's episode was boring. Did you see that bed Marina and Mallet was on? GL was wrong for that.

Olivia is wrong for her attitude towards Remy. When does she go to see Ava? If she cares so much for Ava, she should have come forth and told Jeffrey that Grady kidnapped Ava and tried to rape her. Jeffrey could have found a way to keep her out of it even though she hired Grady to kill Ava.

I hope this is not bashing the character - Rafe's eyebrows are too thick and the facial hair is too much for a person barely out of high school. I agree with Natalia when she said he's come back looking like a man. It appears GL is making Grady to be 23 years old which iis a crock; I guess in a couple of weeks, Daisy and Rafe will be 20.

Mom of 6, I was under the impression that GL made a deal with someone in New Jersey to rent/lease a certain amount of land for the new location/scenery that we are seeing. The warehouse setting was too costly. I could be wrong, but I thought I read that back in February...

MOM OF 6,
i know this whole filming outdoors thing is getting a little excessive. i'm starting to miss the old GL sets.

GLandWT,
i saw that bed Mallet and Marina were sleeping on. how could they have slept on that? so unreal! the show has this new way of filming in some of the offices of the producers on the show to save time and money. that was probably what they did. man, are these producers ruining a has been wonderful show.

Do the writers watch this show? It wasn't two months ago that Daisy wanted back into Harley's house and we were told that Lizzie had changed the locks and Cyrus had to break in. Now Marina still has a key and apparently they left it open for Daisy to show up to later. Also here's a helpful hint, when your fugitive son shows up in your rented room for the first time in months and is still wanted by the police, LOCK THE DOOR!!! Like the dining room set at the Spaulding Mansion, not sure if it was a set or an actually house but it looked real; like it might actually be in a mansion.

I love the Daisy, Rafe and Grady thing. I love the whole show. Get over it, they make the show they want. we have no say. If we did, then who knows what would happen.

I didnt know mallet and marina were a real couple in real life. Interesting
