Olivia offers to help Rafe, Daisy meets with Rafe again, Remy is frustrated with being cut out of Ava's life.

Remy searches for Olivia at The Beacon. She ends up finding him on her doorstep. She's still angry at him for telling Ava about the baby without her being there. They argue; she doesn't want him to see her daughter again. He asks her to give her some cards he's written. "The only connection the two of you had was Max... you need to stop. You're just a bad memory," she says, demanding that he stay away. She shuts the door in his face. He keeps knocking. She leaves. He follows and she becomes faint. He offers her his medical skills. She points out that he's just an EMT and that's barely a step above a school nurse. She stomps off and he calls Mel to get in touch with Jeffrey

Jeffrey is annoyed when the police prove to be useless at keeping Alan under surveillance. The cop explains that this is supposed to be Marina's case but she hasn't shown up for work yet.

Marina wakes up in bed with Mallet. She realizes that she's left Daisy alone in her apartment and there's a good chance she could be with Grady. Anxious, they start to dress to run out and check. Jeffrey calls to order her over to Harley's to search for Alan.

Daisy lays in bed alone at Marina's. Ashlee comes to the door to see Marina after receiving a text message from her. Seeing Daisy there, she's ready to walk away. Daisy explains that she sent her the message and she misses her. She admits that Ashlee is still the only person she trusts. Ashlee agrees to come in, paint her toenails and have a heart to heart. Daisy tells her that Rafe is back. They gossip. Ashlee is impressed that Rafe seems to have come back for her. Daisy doubts it but admits that he came to see her before his mother. Daisy insists that she's with Grady now and the timing couldn't be worse for Rafe to show up. Ashlee suggests that Grady is just a replacement for Rafe... and all the other people who vanished all at once. Maybe all of her feelings for Grady are her actual feelings for Rafe, she suggests.

Jeffery, Mallet and Marina barge into Harley's house and begin searching around. Jeffrey explains his new case. Marina points out that Lizzie is even less reliable than Daisy and they've just broken into her house. He finds a train schedule and guesses they've left town. He leaves and the two cops call Daisy to look for Alan. No one tells Daisy anything about Harley's house so she's no help. She tells Marina that she's at The Beacon with Ashlee and then jokes about spilling nail polish before hanging up.

Jeffrey returns to the station and orders a search of the database for everything involving Alan. The cop slouches off to work. Remy arrives and tells Jeffrey that he still wants to see Ava and Olivia is forbidding it. Jeffrey says that's all up to Olivia right now. He asks Remy out to have a drink with him. They go over to Towers. Jeffrey tries to make small talk. It doesn't work. Remy talks about how he feels like he's made everything worse by sending Ava email and postcards. Jeffrey says she never received any. They guess that Olivia hid them all.

At the boarding house, Natalia can barely believe her son has returned... and he looks so grown up. She asks how things went and wonders where Harley is. Harley doesn't even know he is back, he explains. She was right to call him and everything will be fine; he has faith in Alan's Gus visions, he says. Sitting down, she tells him that she has to call the police. He tells her that he's already seen Daisy. She wants to call Frank and put together a plan. He tells her not to rush things. As they argue, Olivia comes to the door and sees them together. "I'm not here," Rafe says. Natalia walks into the hall with Olivia. Left alone, Rafe calls Daisy and asks her to meet with him.

Olivia and Natalia sit at Company. Olivia is surprised that she is so panicked and isn't just enjoying having her son back. Natalia giggles at having him back but worries that he has faith in Alan's visions. She believes in them too, she admits, they've come true after all, but she thinks they need to take precautions to keep Rafe safe. Olivia wants to help; it's what Gus would have wanted. When Natalia goes back upstairs, she's disturbed to find that her son is gone again.

Daisy waits for Rafe at Harley's empty house. He arrives as she worries about his safety. He tells her that being in a foreign country gave him time to think and he blames himself for much of what happened between them. He felt like he was always being forced to choose but he should have chosen her. "I want you back. I love you," he says.

Jeffrey meets Olivia at the mansion. She points out the memorial. He brings up her ban on Remy. He won't argue against it; he doesn't know how to help. She suggests that if they can't help their own daughter, maybe they can help someone else's child: Rafe. She tells him he's back in town. He offers to handle it. She suggests that he is spreading himself too thin and will end up failing everyone including himself. Her legs suddenly give way and he has to help her to the couch. She says she isn't sick, it's Gus speaking to her through his heart. Jeffrey is amused. She says it's just a karmic kick she gets from Gus once and awhile. Gus wants them to protect Rafe. He thinks that's crazy. She says it's not as crazy as going after justice for Tammy. It's his job, he says. She thinks he's simply punishing himself by pushing himself too hard.

Marina sits with Remy at the bar in Towers. They catch up. He doesn't know what to do. They recall their days living with Tammy; she would know what to do, she suggests. Marina recollects her old conversations with her friend and how much her advice helped her. He tells her she could have used his advice when she was dating Cyrus. She agrees, but she doesn't have the same worries with Mallet. She advises Remy to think of what anyone she's ever dated would do and do the opposite. He gets up and calls Rick to tell him that Olivia might be in trouble.

Natalia goes down to the station to see Mallet. He apologizes for the way he dealt with the Gus situation and probably should have known that if he was up to no good, he had good reason. With some difficulty, she agrees to trust him and tells him that Rafe is already back and putting himself in danger. "I want you to arrest my son," she says.
