Josh continues his plot to win Reva back, Lizzie is desperate to get her baby back, Alan tells Natalia it's time for Rafe to return.

Lizzie can barely crawl out of her bed in the morning. When she finally does, she goes downstairs and tells Lillian how awful she feels and how she worries about Sarah. She's sure that the baby must hate her for abandoning her. Lillian thinks that her real problem is Bill and suggests that she stay here with her family. Lizzie is still determined to move away; there is too much pain here.

Natalia comes to visit Alan at home. He makes tea and tells her that things are falling into place just like Gus said they would. She called Rafe but isn't sure if he received her message. Alan is sure that he has and is also sure Gus thinks his son would be safer here than in Europe. He shows her the pen he once gave Gus and hopes that, one day, Rafe will work at Spaulding just like his father did.

Jeffery and Olivia sit in the chapel. She tells him it will take more than divine intervention to nail Alan. Jeffrey needs help and forgiveness. Olivia tells him that this isn't his fault and neither is Ava. She doesn't understand why Ava is suffering while Alan is a free man. Neither does Jeffrey. Neither of them like church either, but somehow they ended up there.

Alan runs into Jeffrey as he walks down the street. The lawyer lays into him. Alan admits that he feels sorry for what happened to Tammy, but he was meant to be free.

Natalia meets Olivia at the Beacon. She checks up on her and notices that Olivia is carrying a bag of baby things. The store refused to take them back, Olivia explains. Natalia tells her about Rafe and how everything seems to be part of a big plan. Olivia thinks she must be thrilled that Alan is free then and able to continue with his visions. Natalia needs to believe in something and his visions have been coming true she insists. "There are no guardian angels up there!" Olivia snaps. Nothing that's happened, from Rafe going on the run to Tammy's killer getting off, could have happened because of Gus, she insists. Emma arrives and shows Natalia the craft she made in daycamp. She asks her mother if she can show it to Rafe.

Josh shows up on Reva's doorstep with apricot danishes for her. He pushes his way in and asks her how Jeffrey is doing. She tells him he has a lot going on. "Then you should let me take care of you," he smiles. She reminds him that this isn't his home anymore and refuses to eat the breakfast he waves at her. She throws it away and he's sure he's getting to her. Grabbing her calendar, she circles a wedding date and sticks it in his face.

Billy and Josh stand outside and go over his plans for the new church. Josh tells him about his divorce and then moves along to his plans to get Reva back. He only has two weeks until she marries Jeffrey so he's in a rush. Billy laughs, happy to see his brother so excited about something. Josh begins digging and Bill tells him he can't be a reverend, a builder and a homewrecker all at once. They need to have plans and follow the rules, he says. Josh laughs.

Reva and Jeffery sit at Cross Creek. She informs him that she picked a wedding date... right after Josh was bothering her. He wonders if Josh is the reason they are getting married. She insists it's not; they just need something happy and fun in their lives. He's not sure that he deserves it. He hasn't been able to get justice for anyone. To a large degree, this has been because of her. Before her, he would have gone through illegal channels to get things done, but now that he has her and a family, he can't. She sarcastically apologizes for stopping him from doing stupid things. He tells her that the life he wants is with her. She suspects that he will resent her and trip up. She doesn't want to have to spend her honeymoon visiting him in jail. He leaves to think.

Lizzie finds Alan at the mansion. He's making plans for what he will do when he takes over the building again. He offers her the chance to pick her room first. She asks him where Sarah can sleep and reminds him that he offered to help find her. He doesn't want to get Jonathan riled up again, he says. She thinks that he's starting to sound like his old self again and accuses him of being responsible for her losing her daughter. "I don't know what you want me to do," he says. She storms off.

Lizzie goes to visit Reva at Cross Creek. Almost instantly, she takes the photo of Sarah off the mantle and begins asking for Jonathan's number. Reva refuses. She asks Reva to tell Jonathan that she is sick again so that he will come home with the baby. Reva refuses and says that Jonathan's return seems unlikely now that Alan is free. She offers to try and talk to him any chance she gets.

Natalia runs into Jeffrey outside of Company and asks him how he is. She asks what would happen if Rafe turned himself in. He repeats his promise to do whatever he can to help him. "Parents should be with their kids," he says.

Olivia barges into Alan's house and tells him that everything is his fault. She rants at him for filling everyone's head with Gus ghost stories. Alan is sure that she wants him to believe he has a connection with Gus, even if she doesn't admit it. She does admit it; she needs to know that he is okay with her having his heart. Alan embraces her and tells her that Gus is happy to have his heart inside of her. They sit down and he discusses what suite he can put her and her family in in the mansion. She's not taking this seriously. He insists that it's for real. Lizzie rushes in and Olivia leaves, confused about why she came there at all. Lizzie asks her grandfather to try and help with Sarah again. He sits her down and confesses that he made up the numbers he told her. He knew how much she wanted help so he just made something up. All of his other visions were real, but this one wasn't. She accuses him of setting her up to be humiliated. He only wanted her to believe and have hope. She's furious. He claims he simply didn't think things through. She walks out.

At Cross Creek, Reva gives Billy some coffee and worries that Josh may cause trouble at the wedding. Billy is glad that Josh is on a mission to get her back. If she and "Jeffy" can withstand Josh going after her, they can survive anything, he laughs.

Jeffrey calls Reva and tells her that she was right and they should get married now. He's ready to stop wasting his life going after Alan and wants to take a month off to go on a honeymoon with her. After he hangs up, Lizzie bursts in and rambles before offering to testify against her grandfather. "I need to bring my daughter home and to do that I'm willing to give you my granddad," she offers.
