Daisy makes a decision, Cassie and Josh divorce, the verdict for the trial comes in.

At the courthouse, Cassie is excused from continuing testimony. Grady stares at her, upset. She walks down. His lawyer tells him it's good to look upset. "I am upset," Grady admits. Josh follows Cassie as she leaves the courtroom. He asks her if she wants to get some fresh air before the conviction comes in. She just wants to go home and see RJ: He's who she needs to focus on now. As she leaves, Josh trails after her.

Reva tries to track down Daisy without luck. Jeffrey is annoyed and threatens to do whatever he has to to have Grady put away. She suggests he may be trying to overcompensate because of Ava. He insists that this is only about Tammy. She hugs him.

Cyrus and Grady anxiously talk in a corner of the station. Cyrus says they can still beat this. After all, Daisy is the next witness and she's on their side. Grady is less convinced. He wishes he never came to this town.

Alan sits with Daisy beside Tammy's memorial. He tells her that he can still feel Gus' presence and he must have brought them together. She doubts that. He explains that they are both looking for answers and maybe Gus thinks they can help each other out. She wishes Gus could tell her what to do. Alan says she knows what to do. Gus knows people aren't perfect. She says that Harley thought everything was black and white. Alan doesn't think that's realistic and points out that Harley is with his grandson, breaking all of the rules just because it's what she feels is right. Gus thought that Daisy deserved a second chance and that's why he saved her when he found her in the car. As she thinks of Tammy giving Jonathan a second chance, she remembers meeting Grady.

Josh follows Cassie to the graveyard. She tells Tammy that it's over and she only needs to worry about the future now. She just wants to spend every moment she can with RJ. Turning, she notices Josh. He admits that he was worried and followed her. She tells him not to worry and asks him if they can file for divorce. If they finish the paperwork today, she can start her new life tomorrow. He agrees to go along with it. She tells him their marriage wasn't a failure; he helped her get through her loss. She helped him find his faith, he says.

Josh and Cassie go to Mel and she draws up the standard papers. She thinks they are going too fast and suggests they seek counseling. Josh explains that they've already been to a counselor. Mel needs a reason to file. Cassie says they have "irreconcilable differences". Josh agrees that's what they have. Mel wonders how that can be. They explain that they aren't the same people who fell in love anymore. Neither expected it to end this way. They discuss the children. Cassie will retain custody but Josh will remain the adoptive father. Mel leaves to file the paperwork. Cassie thanks him for doing this so quickly. She just wants her time left with RJ to be happy. He drives her home and promises that he will be there to look after the children as much as he can. "I think Reva and I have a chance and I'm going to make a go of it," he informs her. She thanks him for telling her. He says he'll be around if she needs him and walks out.

Natalia runs into Frank at Company. He lets it slip that Zach is back. She prods for information. He explains that Harley was spotted by someone who "shoots first and asks questions later". She worries but he tries to reassure her.

Everyone returns to court. Grady spots Daisy and worries. He tries to smile at her. Before she is called up, Reva grabs her and asks her where she's been. She explains that she went to the spot where Tammy died to get in touch with what happened that night. She feels horrible and blames herself. Reva tells her that everyone makes mistakes. "I want to make things right," Daisy says. She is called up to testify. After she explains that she was in the car with Grady, Jeffrey asks her to explain what happened. Daisy claims that it was all her fault and they were only out for a drive. Jeffrey says that she's changed her story from her pre-trial interview. She claims that she took Ecstasy and got sick in the car. Grady was distracted by her and they accidentally hit Tammy. Alan walks out and Jeffrey accuses Daisy of being a known liar. He brings up her time in juvie and says that she couldn't do anything after the accident because she was high. Jeffrey brings up Rafe and says that Daisy is a drug taker who has a thing for bad boys and no one should believe anything she says. He starts to rant at her and Grady yells at him to leave her alone. Jeffrey finally stops and sits down.

Reva follows Daisy as she walks out of court. She demands to know why she lied. Daisy says that Tammy is gone and she doesn't need to ruin Grady's life as well. He needs someone to believe in him, someone to give him a second chance... just like Tammy did for Jonathan. Reva says it's not the same thing. Daisy claims that she and Grady are both outsiders. Reva makes excuses for Harley's treatment of her and the way she has been bounced around constantly. "That only means you belong everywhere," Reva claims. Daisy doesn't believe that. Reva can understand why she's done what she has, but, she warns, someday she will have to face Cassie.

Back in court, Jeffrey offers his summation, insisting that neither Cyrus nor Daisy's testimony can be believed. He suggests that the jury remember the look on Cassie's face and that Tammy will never see another day. He urges them to find Grady guilty of first degree murder.

It doesn't take long for the jury to return with a verdict. Jeffrey calls Cassie to the courthouse. The jury files in and declares Grady not guilty. Daisy is elated. Alan smiles and walks out. The brothers hug. Cyrus spots Cassie as she falls apart and runs from the room. He runs after her. Daisy rushes over and hugs Grady, telling him that she and Tammy have given him a second chance. As they kiss, Jeffrey says this isn't right and it's not over. He storms out and Josh arrives. Reva tearfully tells Josh the verdict and walks out.

Alan meets Natalia at the station and tells her that he is now free to help Rafe come back home. She calls her son and tells him about the message that Alan got from Gus.

Cassie rushes to Tammy's grave and tells her how sorry she is. She has spent so much time trying to move on... but she doesn't know if she can now. Cyrus watches from a distance.
