Jeffrey keeps his distance from Reva but offers to protect her, Grady refuses to give Daisy up.

At Cross Creek, Reva's tap blows and she calls for a plumber but they're no help. She crawls under the sink and has no luck until she finds the instructions Jeffrey left behind.

At the office, a woman named Angela is flirting with Jeffrey when Reva starts calling. He sees that it's Reva and decides not to answer, chasing the woman down instead and walking her to her car.

Jeffrey and Reva bump into each other at Towers. She's surprised to see him and offers to leave. He tells her to stay and sits with his back to hers. Reva orders the prime rib special. It's the last one. She knows that it's Jeffery's favorite so she orders the tuna instead so Jeffrey can have it. Jeffrey says that she can have it. She says she's stubborn and won't change her mind. The waiter offers to have it split. They agree to that and laugh. "Who gets custody on prime rib Wednesday?" she asks. They agree to alternate. He tells her that they shouldn't call each other for awhile. He suggests that she call Josh and figure out what she really wants. Their food comes and they eat, speaking while keeping their distance. She admits she's confused by everything. They begin making fun of the other people in the restaurant and then talk about their food. "You know I miss you," she says as she goes. "How could you not?" he smiles. She laughs.

By the side of the road, Cyrus is calling Harley and leaving messages while watching Jude run a race. Daisy approaches. They stand together, away from the Cooper family as they watch Jude from across the road. Frank thinks that Daisy should be with them. Buzz tells him that they should be concentrating on Jude and keeping things normal for him. Cyrus tells Daisy that she should be with her family. She's still angry for what they're doing to Grady. He tells her to find someone new and suggests that she try traveling. Jude finishes the race.

At the station, Mallet's shift ends so he goes to say goodbye to Marina. She asks him if he believes Alan's claims about Gus. She worries about the cat and mouse game Alan and Grady seem to be playing. Mallet suggests that she talk to Alan's "groupies"; the women who seem to be following him around like a prophet and paying his legal bills.

Daisy runs into Frank in the parking lot. He knows that she's been having a rough time but she's family and they're all she has. She feels like they're the enemy. He tells her she can never see Grady again. "You can't stop me from seeing him," she protests. He couldn't stop Marina from seeing Cyrus and he could never stop Harley. Frank suggests she talk to both of them about letting Cyrus into their lives and what it's cost them.

Marina goes outside and Daisy approaches her to talk. "Please tells me this isn't about Grady Foley," Marina says. Daisy is sick of being treated like a kid. They sit down. Daisy says she's in love. Marina tries not to sound like her father but she can't stop herself from saying that Daisy is only 18. Can't you be in love when you're 18? Daisy asks. Marina shrugs and remembers her old lover Ben. He did really bad things, but that never stopped her from loving him. Daisy believes that Grady is genuinely sorry for what he's done. Marina doesn't know what to say considering her own history, but suggests that she run. However, "I can't ask you to do something that I can't do," she admits.

Cyrus goes to see his brother in jail. He pulls out his tape recorder and plays back the confession he got out of Reva. Grady is thrilled. Cyrus says it can only get the drug charges dropped. Grady is sure this will prove that Reva and the cops are crooked. Cyrus says he'll only get him out if he never sees Daisy again. Grady accuses him of doing this just to try and score points with Harley. Cyrus argues that Daisy needs something stable. Grady refuses and tells him to go. He calls the guard to take his brother away.

Cyrus catches Jeffrey in the stairwell. Jeffrey tells him to be careful what he says; Tammy was like a daughter to him. Cyrus points out how conveniently these new charges came about. His brother has a history of selling drugs but not the sort of drugs he was caught with. Jeffrey walks into his office and looks at a picture of he and Reva before calling to check on what drugs Grady used to sell.

Marina meets Mallet back at the station. He asks her about what sort of weekend getaway a woman would enjoy. She advises him to go for something mellow. Mallet says that the man makes the plans. She grabs his plans away and they tease each other.

Daisy goes to Cross Creek to pack her things. Reva starts to probe. Daisy tells her to go back to just Josh, accusing Reva of taking her personal problems out on her. "You want it all. Isn't that the story of your stupid movie?" Daisy snipes. After she storms off, Reva looks at her invitation to the movie wedding and calls Josh to invite him. She knows he doesn't want to go but she thinks they should. Jeffrey walks in as she hangs up. He tells her he is there on official business. The drugs Grady was busted with were identical to the ones he was on and those in her medicine cabinet. Grady only ever sold street drugs. "Are you sure you don't want to tell me something?" he asks. She admits to the set up. He understands and will try to fix this. She thanks him and he walks out.

Frank and Mallet go to see Grady in the cells. They threaten him and assure him that no one would care what they do to him. Grady points out that they aren't very good at protecting people. Frank smugly tells him that Daisy will forget him by the time he gets out and walks way. Daisy soon arrives. She tells him that she can't live with Reva or the Coopers anymore. He tells her about the tape Cyrus has. The DA will only get the tape if he will give her up and he won't do that.

Marina goes into Harley's. She calls in, saying that a break-in has been reported. She finds Cyrus sitting on the floor drinking. She calls into the station to say it's a false alarm. He tells her that he doesn't know how to be a brother. He's always tried to take care of his brother but never thought that Grady would end up like him. He blames himself for not being there to guide him. She tells him he should go. He finishes his beer and slouches off.

I realy wish they would put Cyrus and Marina back together. I can not stand her w/ Mallett. They are just so boring together.

Does anyone know where Daisy really lives. They said that she was packing her clothes from Reva's but didn't Reva just move there? I'm confused..

Thank you, Pambo! That annoys me so much that ours is about the only show that doesn't get updated regularly!

I think Daisy should just go soak her head and a few other people along with her. Every since she came back to Springfield she has consistently terrorized her family and everyone associated with her. She did nothing but try to make her mother's life a misery. When she couldn’t drug and seduce Gus she set in motion events that broke up her marriage to Gus by hunting down Natalia and bringing her to town which ultimately if you think about it lead up to Gus getting killed. Now all she does is whine that her mother and nobody really cares about her. Why should they? All she does is create havoc for anyone who gets near her with her manipulations, deceit and self centered selfish ways. People have been covering up for her and paying the price for her mistakes since she got back to town. How much can this G guy actually do to ruin her? Maybe they should just let her make the mistakes she insists on and actually pay the price for them for a change. Let her get an adjoining cell with the murderer she loves so much and they can drive each other nuts whining about how unfairly everyone has treated them, but in writing because everyone seems really sick of listening to it.

As for Reva and Josh getting back together? It's all a big tease. The producers know that Many of what's left of the GL faithful following are still tuning in, in the hopes of seeing it happen but in my opinion the writers stupidly broke up the Josh/Reva duo because they thought Reva just wasn't hot enough any longer to be paired with Josh, the beast of age bias rearing its ugly head. They paired Josh with Cassie because they thought Cassie being much younger and sexier looking would be more appealing to viewers under 30. The whole Josh being a preacher was a gimmick for their anniversary year because the show when it first aired it had a major minister scenario going and it bombed big time just like everything the writers have done since 2006. However, now that he's the Rev. Josh Lewis he can't really divorce poor crazy Cassie and get back with Reva. All he can do is be this poor long suffering loser doing the whole soul searching conflicted gig. The actor playing Josh may just be the next one to jump the GL ship since they have painted him into a going nowhere box just like Gus and Harley.

I get the feeling they have decided that all the viewers over the age of 35 can just dry up and blow away because if you notice their storylines are showing less and less of the original cast and more and more of the nonsensical plots involving the younger cast. An extremely short sighted approach yet unfortunately one that seems to be pervasive in the entertainment industry in the USA. Kind of dumb when you think that the boomer generation and older is the largest segment of the consumer base at this time. They seemed to have lost sight of biggest reason for the 70-year success is that it had story lines that dealt with a diversity of characters in age and situations that could appeal to the same diversity in viewers.

this has got to be the worse writing in the history of gl. mallett with marina is like incest since she is his godchild.daisy, lizzie, marina, ava, bill, and all the other children on this soap need to see if they can get a discount rate at the nearest shrink and stay on the couch for at least ten years. the off springs of these can think straight parents need to be dropped off on an island where they can continue to mess up each others lives. the music is sick and annoying. please deliver us from this eight year olds writing but then again i am insulting eight year olds because they can write some good stories and essays.

Posted by celherb8 at Wednesday, July 16 2008 07:58 PM

sorry i meant to say that the parents of these off spings need to be dropped of on a deserted island and try to straighten their lives out. maybe then they can come back home and lead a somewhat happy life. daisy screams at the adults, who donot deserve respect, like she is the adult and they are children. my mother would show me how to swallow my teeth where i would think twice aboout thinking i was on her level. writers get a clue children and teens are looking at this and we wonder why this generation is so meeesd up.

I HAVE HAD JUST ABOUT ENOUGH !! Just about everything on the show is boring. You don't stick with a storyline long enough for us to get into it. And when we finally get into a couple..you break them up ,right away. What I'd like to know is, who is with who, for a short time at least. Everyone on GL, except the one we want to break up, Cassie and Josh, have broken up...this is pitiful...just pitiful. I am getting sick of watching...I can't keep up with the storyline. The writers are all over the place. Oh, and by the way...Josh and Cassie, are boring, have always been boring, there is no chemistry there, and break them up already...Josh is suffering a slow death with her!! Then you finally get our hopes up, with Josh and Reva, only to dash them with ,Josh telling Cassie to have a baby, for Gods sake!! A baby? What in the world does Cassie, need a baby for...SHES CRAZY? !!
