Rafe lashes out at Natalia, Harley suspects there is a crooked cop, Mallet turns to Dinah for help.

Natalia walks out of the boarding house and finds her son with a picture. She assumes it's of Daisy but it's of the house Gus bought them. Rafe still wants the house back. As he trudges away, he makes a call. Meanwhile, Jeffrey takes Olivia to Cedars for a doctor's appointment. They joke about their brief marriage. She starts to pace. "I hate this," she rants. Jeffrey tells her to stay positive. "Shut up," she says. He leaves. As she continues to wait for the doctor, Rafe arrives and confronts her about the house. He can't understand why she is doing this to him and his mother. She tells him life isn't fair. She's just trying to feel something and she thought the house would make her feel something. He reminds her that she has kids. The kids can't understand, she explains. Rafe keeps repeating that she doesn't even live in the house. "I knew him longer than you!" she snaps. He thinks she's crazy. Natalia arrives and pulls him away, giving him some water and telling him to behave. "Stay away from that horrible woman," she orders. He skulks out and she sits down. Jeffrey returns and sees her drinking water. "You look like you could use something stronger," he comments. Her life is a mess: She's lost Gus and now she's losing her son. How is Jeffrey doing? Olivia was driving him crazy and drove him away, but now he's back. She offers to drive Olivia home for him. "I think we have to have a little chat," she says. He thanks her and leaves.

At headquarters, Harley stares at the case chart and paces. Suddenly, she seems to realize something and begins searching through her files before putting something together. Meanwhile, Marina is mocking Mallet in the interrogation room when Harley hurries in. "It's a fix! Gus' case. That's why he couldn't close them," she announces. She explains that someone in the department must have been tipping off the drug dealers he was investigating. Marina doubts it but Mallet offers to check it out, though he thinks Harley is wrong. When he leaves, Harley wants to keep digging but Marina reminds her that they are not internal affairs. She accuses her of doing this just because her life is a mess. Harley just wants to protect Gus' name, she claims. Upstairs, Mallet begins shredding documents. Harley comes up to see him and asks to see the files again, eager to find the dirty cop. He tells her to relax and promises her that he has it under control. "None of this is gonna bring Gus back," he reminds her. She needs to have a life outside of this place, he says, hugging her and sending her home to paint the house.

Harley runs into Jeffrey outside of Company. She tells him about her suspicions of a dirty cop and how worried she is that Mallet can't really handle looking into this. She suggests that they owe Gus this and walks away. Later, Rafe arrives in Jeffrey's office: He needs to talk to a lawyer. He asks him if Olivia can really take the house the way she has. Jeffery thinks Natalia's lucky to have him looking out for her. He's not doing it for her. Jeffery agrees to look into it.

Olivia finishes her checkup with her doctor. She thinks this treatment will be endless. Natalia arrives, announcing that she will be taking her home. Olivia smirks. "Mother-son tag team day?" she jokes. They walk to the parking lot. Natalia resists the desire to scream in her face. She drives her home to The Beacon. Olivia thinks Natalia has a personality disorder: One minute she wants to attack her, the next she is caring for her. She asks her to leave. Olivia goes to the house alone and sits on the lawn. Meanwhile, Natalia tracks down Rafe in the park. She tells him that, even if it feels like Olivia gets everything, it's not really true.
Dinah walks through the garden and calls for Hilda. Remy pops up, wondering why she is wearing such uncomfortable looking clothes. It's because she's a ruler, she explains, reminding him that she and Bill have taken over Spaulding. She asks him to come and party with her but he's not in the mood. She guilts him into coming along. After he gets dressed in his finest, she tells him that he will be sure to want to join her team. Before they can leave, Marina arrives on police business. There have been complaints about the construction noise. Dinah thought that dealing with complaints like this were a patrolman's job. She suspects that Marina is just worried that Mallet might come instead of her and starts to lay into her, making salacious suggestions about the young detective and her boss, before storming away.

Marina and Mallet are having a picnic in the park. His phone rings: It's Jeffrey. He wants to talk about the crooked cop. Mallet is annoyed that Harley has gone over his head about this. He tells Jeffery that Harley has nothing solid; the only thing connecting all of these cases is Gus. Jeffrey asks him if he's suggesting Gus was sloppy. Mallet says he was spread too thin and reminds him that Harley has problems. He offers to keep an eye on everything. After he gets off the phone, Marina tries to invite him over when a frisbee lands in their lunch. She becomes bashful and wonders if she should even ask these things. "Yeah, I'll come over," he says enthusiastically, but he has something to take care of first.

Jeffrey arrives at Harley's. She's excited that he already has news. He tells her that she needs to stay out of this and let him handle it. She returns to the station and slumps at her desk. As Harley continues to sort through the files in search of the cop, Marina defends her to the other cops when they start to lay into her for this.

Dinah and Remy go down to Spaulding. She gets a call setting up a meeting between she and Mallet. She smiles, "It is going to be a good day." Later, Mallet arrives at the mansion and finds Dinah waiting for him with dinner on the table. They sit down and she tells him that he can have anything he wants. He has things on his mind. She tells him to stop worrying. This isn't about him, he says. She thinks he's going to ask her for permission to sleep with Marina. That's not it. "It's about me. I'm going to need your help," he explains.
