I Made it up.

Tuesday, April 08 2008
Dinah and Remy make Phillip disappear, Ava's sad her parents are breaking up, Remy reaches out to Rafe.

Dinah dances around her new mansion until Remy interrupts her. She wonders if he thinks she's shallow since she's dancing while everyone is mourning for Gus. He's confused. She explains that the mansion is now hers. He's impressed but suddenly wanders off. She goes out and runs into Matt while he bikes around town. She tells him that Gus' death has made her realize she needs to revere life and then, abruptly, power walks away.

Outside of the station, a cop hands Mallet a newspaper article in which Alan seems to slam him for his choices and blames him for Gus' death. The article also features an unflattering quote from Frank about Mallet's choices. Mallet walks away, annoyed. He runs into Dinah and grimaces about the flack he's been getting. He knows that Frank is upset and Alan's a jerk but... She asks him to breakfast. He doesn't have time.

Ava meets with her father in the park. He tells her that he is filing the annulment papers today... now that Olivia is on the road to recovery. She sighs. She was starting to like having parents who were married. She teases him for running off to meet his girlfriend so that he can take her to his divorce hearings. Jeffery tells her to be good and assures her that Olivia will be fine. When he and Reva arrive at the court house, he suddenly gets a call from the hospital. Olivia is refusing the medication which will let her body accept the heart. He and Reva rush over.

Reva stops Rafe in the corridor at Cedars and tells him that Gus was a generous guy to donate his heart to Olivia. "Go to hell," he says, walking away. When he arrives at The Beacon, he starts to tear it apart until Remy grabs him and drags him upstairs to Natalia. She asks him why he's doing this. He's angry that Olivia and her family are getting everything while they get nothing. She tells him to stop, but he only walks away. Remy offers to help. "What do you know about parenting?" she asks. "Nothing, but I know a lot about being angry," he says.

Remy takes Rafe out to the yard and throws him some boxing gloves. He yells at him, prompting him to hit him and get the anger out of his system. Later, Remy wanders through the park with a beer and finds Ava crying on a bench. He asks her what's wrong. She says she had her hopes up about something, something that she knew was a long shot, but which won't work out. "My parents are getting divorced," she says. Part of her hoped that getting married would finally make them happy. He tells her that she can take his family if she wants it; they're great but he just doesn't fit in with them. She tells him he just needs to figure out what he wants.

Jeffrey arrives to check in on Olivia. He knows that she is feeling guilty but he tells her that she's being stupid. "Gus is dead!" she cries. He tells her that her behavior isn't acceptable and calls the nurse in. He then proceeds to track down Mallet and ask him to track down Phillip. "He's like some weird phantom floating around town bothering and scaring women and children," Jeffrey says. Mallet offers to poke his head into it and see what's going on.

Natalia goes to Company to order some soup for her son. Dinah walks up to her and pays her respects. Natalia thanks her for actually saying that Gus was her husband. She tried to move on, after he left her, she admits, but there was nobody else for her. Dinah offers to pay for her meal, but Natalia thanks her and turns her down. Dinah returns to her new home and gets on the phone. Mallet is announced so she sends Hilda off to fetch him a steak. Mallet walks in, announcing that he is there on official business: He's searching for Phillip. She tells him not to go looking for him; no one who does comes out clean, she warns. He's surprised by how upset she is, but she lets him look around the house as long as he keeps her posted on what he finds.

Dinah tracks down Remy and tells him that she needs him to convince everyone that Phillip has left town. He agrees, but it will cost her— some cash and a room at the mansion. She agrees to make a deal with him. He heads over to the station to make a confession to Mallet. Remy says that he ran into Phillip a few months ago and has been doing odd jobs for him ever since. He's finished dealing with he and his family though. He hands Mallet a note from Phillip which claims that he is leaving the country and vanishing, never to be found again. Mallet thanks him for the information and they shake hands.

Jeffrey runs into Natalia at Company. Bringing up Olivia, he says, "I can't imagine what either of you are going through, but I can't help but think you could help each other." She doesn't think so. Meanwhile, Rafe stands by Olivia's side. She realizes he's there and tells him it's rude to stare. "I don't know what my dad saw in you. You're a waste," he says. She tells him he needs to know what Gus said before he died. All that he could talk about was his son, how proud he was of him and how much faith he had that he would be a decent man. Natalia has been listening in and stops her son as he walks out of the room. He tells her that he's going back to school and walks out. She walks into Olivia's room and thanks her for what she said to her son. "I made it up," Olivia confesses. She has kids too and didn't want him to suffer. Natalia doesn't know if she's angry or floored that she was just so good to him. Olivia says she was just trying to get rid of him.

Reva arrives in Olivia's room and starts to joke about her dying. Olivia shoots the sarcasm back at her and wishes that she would just up and die: She already has a memorial park, after all. "I have a better idea," Reva offers, after rolling her eyes. Later, she runs into Jeffrey and starts printing off a picture she took of Olivia's park. He has to help her run the printer and gives her a kiss. Mallet suddenly calls with what Remy told him about Phillip leaving town. They both seem to accept this. Meanwhile, Reva runs off the picture and notices that Dinah and Remy are in it, sitting together on the park bench. Jeffrey returns to Olivia and tells her that Phillip is gone. She thanks him and he takes her hand.

Dinah is sitting at her desk eating french fries. She asks Hilda why she keeps calling her Miss Dinah instead of Miss Marler. Hilda stumbles over an explanation, annoying Dinah who then sends her away. Mallet calls to tell her that the Phillip problem has been taken care of. She starts to look around the office for a secret passageway or something when Reva arrives. She shows Dinah the picture she took, telling her that she knows she's been behind Alan's destruction and Phillip's threats to everyone. "We should find a bottle of wine," Dinah smiles.

Take the stupid medication Olivia. At least I didn't have to read about Harley and the virus, Cyrus.

Why would Reva care that it was Dinah that took down Alan? Isn't everyone always trying to take Alan down?

Well I guess "Springfield" can now officially be called "OZ" because "people come and go so quickly here".....

Remy says "Philip is gone" and whoosh.. just cause HE said it, makes it a fact.... no investigation, no police questioning, blah, blah just "poof" genie in a bottle style!

Please, don't make viewers STUPID...its STUPID writing, Alan was fed bs with NO investigation by him and HE himself was broke and pennyless in less than 2 weeks and its all becuase Dinah is a magician with Remy as her dummy!

Damn, can't we expect better from this long running soap?

Olivia, stop being a wimp and accept Gus' challenge to LIVE for BOTH OF THEM! Get the heck out of that bed and do some good as Gus did...

Now that Gus is gone from show and Alan is broke....no point in keeping icky Natalia and her brat son Rafe and if Daisy can't give him up - send her packing back to Chicago too......no futher story on that bunch is needed or wanted.

I was hoping Jeffrey/Olivia would stay married and get Reva with Billie. Evidently the writers took SOME advice as we haven't seen Josh/stupid Cassie for a couple weeks YAH!

We need some NEW blood like Marah back/Shane/Mindy/Alan-Michael or something......

I dont like Nat but if I were her, knowing how much Gus tried to help her I would be mad by the way she is acting. He gave her the ultimate gift, not by his choice and she is wanting to die. That would be a waste of a heart. she is an idot.

Mallet has to be suspicious of Dinah by now, the way she acted when he mentioned looking into Phillip's where abouts. What was up with the scene with Matt and Dinah, when she walked away she was wearing boots and when she walked up to Mallet at the police station she's wearing high heels. I guess she could have changed , but they need to be on top of these things. I don't get Rafe, I know he's mad his dad died, but wouldn't you want a part of your dad to live on. Maybe after that talk with Olivia he'll lighten up a little and try to get past his dad's death and just be proud of the sacrafice he mad so that Emma wouldn't grow up without a mother.

I can't stand remy, he such a punk I don't know why they even brought him back on the show, there isn't a love interest for him on the show and other than being a flunky why bring him back.
Glad Reva is coming back strong, their giving her more screen time and things are going pretty good between her and Jeffrey. It was pretty cool seeing that picture Reva had of Dinah and remy, and then she went over and blew Dinah out of the water. I hope Reva will keep her secret, who wants to see Alan back in power and ruining lives again, let sleeping dogs lye. I know Mallet is all about the law and the legal system and he has to do things by the book but come on, you used to be a killer for hire and Dinah didn't rat you out so let her slide. Look at the problems Jeffrey and Alan have had like when he was trying to keep Reva from him, why would you want to help Alan.

I have watched this show for years never posted a comment i feel the need now

the story with olivia is down disgraceful when she will not take her meds. This is a slap in the face for people who are on the waiting list to receive an orgon and the family who makes that decision.!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had 2 transplants and i am so thankful

this makes olivia look like bigger loser than she already is.

Start enjoying your second chance!!!!!!!!!!

I looove Remy...please, please, please give him a good s/l for a change.
