I Don't Feel so Good

Friday, December 28 2007
Josh confronts Will, Cyrus and Harley get drunk, Ashlee bows to Ava's demands, Josh gets a call from Edmund.

At Towers, a laughing Cyrus hugs Harley and tries to calm her after her run-in with the snake. Looking into his eyes, she asks him if this is alright, because it doesn't feel that way. Before they can kiss, Cassie interrupts. They sit at the bar and regale Cassie with tales of the slithering snake. She doesn't say much in response. Cyrus spots Frank and excuses himself. Cassie starts probing her friend about her panic attacks. Harley begs Cassie not to tell anyone about them. "At least you won't have to work through it alone," Cassie surmises before reminding Harley that Cyrus is dating her niece. Harley tells her that Dinah said Cyrus and Marina won't make it in the long run. Cassie's shocked that she would blurt that out, as if it's an excuse. Harley tries to cover and says once again that it would be wrong for her to be with Cyrus. Cassie wishes that her friend would be more honest with her and walks away. Harley promptly downs a cocktail.

Across the room, Cyrus and Frank sit down to discuss getting Marina back on the force. Buzz arrives, happy to see that the two men are being civil to one another. As Cyrus rises to leave, Buzz thanks him for helping Marina. He's sure that Cyrus will treat her better than all the other men in her life have. Cyrus tries to reassure him and then wanders over to the bar where Harley is meeting with a lawyer from Spaulding. She tells Cyrus that she is now officially divorced and so is he— the papers came through on the same day. "How about that?" she sighs. He chuckles and pulls out his phone to call Marina, feeling like a kid in a candy store. Stopping himself, he starts to commiserate with Harley. They tell each other again that there is nothing between them. He sits down and starts drinking with her. They get drunk and decide it's time to go home. After accidentally breaking a vase, they sneak down the stairs. They take a cab back to her place where he helps her upstairs and into bed. Once he has her tucked in, he flops down beside her.

At Company, Coop congratulates Ashlee on all her hard work and tells her that he has a dress for her to wear on inauguration night. "If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't be celebrating," he says, hugging her and missing the irony. As they start sorting out arrangements, Doris arrives and asks Coop how things are going. They confess that Doris helped pick out Ashlee's new dress. Ashlee is shocked. When Coop leaves for a call, Doris sits down with her daughter and tells her not to act so shocked: Buzz reached out to her and offered her a place and she's happy to help him. Maybe she can even learn something from him... Ashlee's mouth hangs open while Doris admits that losing hasn't been so bad. She thanks her before she runs off. As soon as Doris is gone, Ava appears and sits down with her blond enemy. She flashes the video of Einstein and Ashlee together to remind her of what she's done. Ashlee tries to guilt Ava out of blackmailing her, but Ava is undeterred. She won't do anything to Buzz as long as Ashlee makes sure that Coop takes her and not Ashlee to the inauguration.

Later, Coop is upset after Ashlee has told him that she won't be accompanying him. He's angry and disappointed; he wanted to celebrate with her. She suggests that he take someone else...like Ava perhaps? Coop is baffled at the suggestion but Ashlee tells him that if Doris can change, Ava can too. He agrees to think about it. His phone rings and he walks away as she hurries off. Outside, she runs into Buzz and Frank. She asks Buzz if being mayor is what he really wants. He tells her that he'll do his best to be the best mayor the town has ever seen. She hugs him and runs away. Frank starts hugging his father and telling him how proud he is before Doris arrives and hands Buzz his speech. He can't use it though; he knows that it's the speech she was going to use if she won.

At Cassie's, Josh reads an article about the mall lock down. He asks Will why he was so surprised that he got out and managed to come home. They sit down on the couch and Josh continues to probe the shrugging boy. Will soon tries to run off but Josh grabs him. Will tells him that he was just happy not to have Josh around. "I wanted just mom for Christmas— not you!" he shouts before running away.

As Cassie returns home, Daisy stops her outside to tell her what a great time she had with Will the other day. When Cassie walks into the house, she finds Josh questioning Will. Daisy suddenly takes the blame for everything, claiming that it was her fault that everyone was locked in the mall. Will smiles deviously. Daisy explains that she did it so that Josh and Reva could have some time alone together. Josh finds it hard to believe, but Daisy is insistent on taking the blame. After she walks out, Cassie asks for some time alone with Josh. She confronts him about his suspicions of her son. He's going to have to find a way to make this up to the boy, she demands. Frustrated, Josh hurries away to the church. Meanwhile, outside, Will finds Daisy, who is impressed that he's actually pulled his little scheme off. She agrees not to say anything, but he owes her money for this. They shake on it. When he goes back inside, his mother gives him some hot chocolate and asks him if he'd like to go out and do something fun with Josh. "I don't feel so good," Will answers. She pulls out her thermometer and tells him that if he's okay, they'll go out. When she turns her back, he dips the thermometer into his hot chocolate. A moment later, she checks it and it's high enough that she decides they better stay in.

A hospital orderly checks Edmund over. Once he's satisfied that the patient is still unconscious, he walks out. Edmund's fingers immediately start to twitch. When the orderly returns, Edmund grabs him and utters: "Saint Marks!" before falling back into unconsciousness. Meanwhile, back in Springfield, Josh goes to rehab to visit his brother. Billy doesn't think that Josh is looking too good himself. He starts to explain what's been going on with Will; he just confronted him and it's only made him look like a jerk. "There's definitely something weird with that kid," Josh states, but there is also something "off" with him. He wonders if he is just feeling guilty for having a good time with Reva and then projecting his guilt onto Will. Later, Josh goes over to the church to talk to his council. After the meeting, he gets a surprising call from Edmund. "Will...pushed..." is all that Edmund can say. As Edmund loses consciousness again, Jeffrey appears in his room and appears to disconnect his IV.

In Monday's previews..it shows Jeffrey turning off Edmond's IV, after Edmond had told Josh by phone that it was the evil little Will who pushed him. Please...don't let this be that Jeffrey is a cold bloodied murderer! I have always liked Jeffrey, but if this is true, I am done with liking him. Ava must inherit her selfish, cold, traits from him as well as her mom Olivia. I wish Ashlee would knock stars in old Ava's head!! Ava is so cruel and heartless. I nearly burst out laughing when the self rightous Cassie told Harley today that she shouldn't be wanting Cyrus, because he is her NIECE'S BOYFRIEND!!!!! That is the pot calling the kettle black if ever I saw it!! I agree with Cassie, though. Harley is cold hearted and so diffrent from the Harley who used to love her niece so much. Harley is just lusting after Cyrus. What happened to that "everlasting love" she had for Gus? What a joke Harley is!

Yeah, Cassie is definitely the pot calling the kettle black on this one. I just wish Josh and Cassie would break up already. Does anyone know when her part will be recast with the actress from ATWT? Or was that a rumor? I really like Will's character and can't wait to see where the writers can go with him. Hopefully they'll go in the right direction for once.

First of all, who still uses a mercury thermometer?? I haven't seen one of those things in years. Cassie and that evil kid are getting on my last nerves.

That wasn't the pot calling the kettle black, the difference is Josh was given to Cassie, Harley is just being stupid. I am tired of this s/l and pretty much the whole damn show,is there not a honest person in Springfield anymore. I use to watch all the cbs soaps but they have run me off one by one GL has always been my favorite but with s/l and bed hopping this show is going down quick. I hope its because the writers are still on strike. With the way Cassie and Harley are being portrayed and possibly killing off the best actress you have had in year(my girl Liv)and I won't even bring up the waste of talent that you're doin with Dinah,Mel,Alex,Vanessa. All s/l don't have to involve the Coopers,Spauldings,or Lewises. I hope for the New year the writers will make this a better show than what I have seen this year. Sorry I just needed to get that off my chest.

Hi Bre(hope you can dig out up there),Mom6,3p,and Aussie

Where did Jeffrey come from? What happened to the nurse call button in the patient's room? Why would the guy looking after Edmund say he was going to get the doctor? These hospital scenes are so unreal. Where is security? the nurses? I don't understand; could this be the end of Edmund? If Olivia was to get his heart, shouldn't the heart be removed immediately?

I am finished with commenting on Harley. She has become stupid with a capital "S".

Ava, Ava, Ava, when are you going to learn, Ashley has her on gravitational pull and she is sucking Coop in and the only chance you have is to spin her right on out of town or in jail. If you would just make an anonymous tip that puts her in a bad light and maybe in some legal hotwater you may have a chance. Sooner or later she is going to tell Coop the truth and then you'll never get him back.

Jeffrey is cruel if he turned off the hospital drip to Edmond. It is hard to believe one little boy is so demented. I am surprised that Edmond wasn't pushed off that balcony by Jeffrey. His character is so off balanced these days. I am sure that Ashlee will still come out okay, even if the witch Ava told on her about having the votes fixed. Ava is after both Bill and Coop. I think Coop is a challenge to her , because he wouldn't take her back , when she left him for Allen Michael. Now, Coop is in love with Ashlee. Ava really deserves Bill. They are two of a kind. Harley needs to stay home some with her poor little boys. Daisey needs her mom, also. Daisy is still lying, and today her lies for the mean little Will were horrible, and he will continue to try to destroy anyone or anything that comes between him and his mom Cassie. Cassie deserves any evil she gets, because she has blinders on when it comes to the precious little darling Will. Josh , are you seeing the light now? Cassie is not the woman you thought she was, is she?

Amen! Harleys personality has been changed by the writers but I guess that is to be expected after getting a divorce from her "true love".

Marina needs to really kick Harley's butt. How dare Harley go for her niece's boyfriend! Harley knows how much Marina loves Cyrus. I am sick of Harley. All the characters on GL have changed so much. (Olivia for the better, and she is the only one.) Jeffrey is a murderer, and Josh, the minister, was going right along with Jeffrey in a plan to get Edmond sent back to be killed in San Cristobel..before the little evil guy Will shoved Edmond off the rail. What has become of all the nice ones? Old Allen Spaulding is looking tame up beside these people.

This Harley thing, wanting Her nieces guy so bad, doesn't surprise me to much, remember she has been with the three bothers Phillip, Allen Michael, and Gus. And she also sleep with Phillips best friend Rick. She spends far to much time with Cyrus. I really never see her with her troubled teenage daughter. I can see how Daisy has turned out the way she has, she has no parent supervision. I feel bad for Daisy. And her two boys are probably on the same track, not to much parent supervision. And when did Cyrus become a therapist. I just loved how he took over a classy restaurant's elevator over, locked it up so no one else would use it, and was playing with the electrical system of the elevator. I wish Harley would go see a real therapist to help her with her problems.
