Cyrus is taken away, Harley signs off on the annulment, Alan has to up-the-ante.
At the station, Frank paces around ranting at immigration on the phone for not taking Cyrus away. Harley watches until she can watch no more. Snatching away his phone, she tells him to let it go. He's starting to sound like Alan. Frank doesn't care; he doesn't want to lose his daughter. 'If you keep acting like this you're going to lose her anyway,' she points out. He should be talking to his daughter, not sending immigration after her boyfriend. When she walks away, immigration agent Jenkins walks in. Frank tells him that he just talked to the DA and they will be arresting Cyrus for kidnapping.

At the mansion, Alan is trying to eat but Buzz has interrupted to go on a rant about how Gus and Harley shouldn't be allowed to split up. Shockingly, Alan agrees and suggests that, maybe, Buzz should be talking to them and not him. 'I've come to just accept them,' Alan explains. He's tired of Gus going from woman to woman. If Buzz wants to stop this, he should talk to his daughter. Buzz starts to scream and then to laugh. For a moment this seemed crazy but now it's clear to him that Alan wants Gus out of the way so that he can go after Natalia. Buzz says that if Natalia is smart 'she'll run for her life' and exits laughing.

While Natalia is doing her housekeeping at The Beacon, she finds a DVD made by Gus. She puts it on: It's all about how important Harley is to him. When she leaves the room, she startles Olivia as she walks into the hall. Olivia explains that she's just been on edge since Emma got a gift from Phillip. 'You must wish you never even met him,' Natalia says. In spite of everything he did to her, Olivia can't say that about Phillip though. They start to commiserate about their problems with men. Olivia suggests that Natalia should leave Gus to Harley; she may not be the only reason they broke up, but she's the main reason they aren't getting back together. Olivia walks into her room alone where she finds a message from Alan looking for an update on their plan. She rushes over to the mansion and tells him that she doesn't want any part of this anymore. He should be taking care of his granddaughter because he loves her, not just to gain something. This isn't a game. He's not listening and tells her again to distract Gus. She doesn't see why she should. If he wants a woman, can't he get one without resorting to manipulation? He's an attractive man after all. 'Are you that unlovable?' she asks. 'I don't know; am I?' he asks his former wide. 'I loved you once...,' she admits. Maybe someone else can be that crazy, she suggests. After she leaves, Alan pulls Phillip's number out of the bottom of his cigar box. He calls his son and leaves a message. Moments later, he goes over to Olivia's and sets out a picture of Emma and a gift before he begins smashing things and trashing the room to look like Phillip was there. He hides out in the hall until Olivia returns. When she gets inside, she grabs her umbrella and looks around before calling out for Phillip. Picking up the phone, she calls to check that Emma is alright. In the hall, a man with a stuffed animal approaches the door.

Harley goes to see Father Ray. He asks her if she's sure this is what she wants. She doesn't seem sure. Gus walks in tying his tie. They sit down and the priest explains what an annulment is. Father Ray tells them that they need to reflect, to grieve this loss and to begin healing. As the fracture couple bicker, the priest stops them and asks them again if they want to go through with this. They do. He sets the pen and papers on the table. The Father stands back to let them talk. They join hands and Gus tells her that the boys and Daisy will always be his family. Harley helped him through so much and put up with his bad habits. She 'got' him like no one else has and he will love her forever. She pulls her hands back and recalls their first date and what a mess he was...she also remembers that he was the man who would never leave her, not even in prison. However, their life together has come to an end. 'Forgiveness has never been my strong suit,' she admits, but she will always love him too. They stand and embrace. She checks her messages while Gus stares at the papers. Before they can finish signing, she talks to Marina and discovers Cyrus is going to deported. 'That's that,' she says, before running away. Gus pulls off his ring and drops it on the table. Natalia suddenly rushes in and tells him to stop. She wished that he could say that all the time he was with Harley wasn't real; that way, they could go back to a world before Harley. She's realized that this is impossible. He tells her it's too late; Harley already signed. She tears up the papers: She won't let him have an annulment. Harley will always be part of him and she won't let him erase that.

Marina's in pigtails and on sitting Cyrus' lap, proposing that they get married. They start to fantasize about what married life could be like. It soon becomes clear that this is not mere fantasy to Marina; she's totally serious. They snuggle up in bed when housekeeping interrupts. Traveling down to Main Street, they kiss until Buzz interrupts them. As he offers to help the young lovers, immigration runs up to them with guns drawn. Marina begins defending him and swearing that Cyrus is innocent of all charges. When they don't listen, she threatens to file a grievance. They tell her that they aren't taking him to court, they're deporting him. She already assumes that this is all Frank's doing but that won't stop them from taking him away. Cyrus is hauled down to the police station to await the flight. He jokes with the agents and Marina tries to tell him she still has hope. Holding back her tears, she tells him not to say goodbye. He calls her to his side and they exchange a long sad look before she collapses in tears on his lap. He begins telling her all the things he admires about her, but they have to face the fact that they're going to be separated. She offers to move to Australia to be near him. He doesn't want her to abandon her family and wait for him to get out of prison. 'We have to say goodbye,' he says. When the agents return to take him away, she begins to scream and tries to hold onto him. Frank pulls her off and she pushes him across the room. She runs after Cyrus as Harley arrives. She tells her aunt that Frank is the one who called immigration and blamed Cyrus for everything. Harley can't believe her brother did that. 'Whose side are you on? The family's or his?' he demands.
