At police headquarters, Mallet is telling Marina about the difficulty he's having getting medical coverage for Dinah. Meanwhile, Dinah struggles to get through an introduction for a segment for her show. When she keeps getting the words wrong and stumbling, she starts to scream at the camera man. Vanessa says they need to take a break. She tells her daughter that she is doing too much too soon: She needs to stay home and rest. Dinah wants another chance but her mother says no: If Dinah won't take of herself, she'll have to take care of her. When she goes home, she finds Mallet there. They talk about their work days. He tells her that his work load will be much lighter now so he'll have more time to spend with her. When he leaves to go to the bank, she starts to search through his desk and finds all of the insurance papers. Picking up the phone, she calls Matt for help. When he arrives, he looks through the bills. She asks him to ask her mom to give her a raise. Awkwardly, he tells her that Vanessa just sent him divorce papers. She's confused and starts to cry; she feels broken but she wishes that people would stop talking down to her. She begs Matt for a second job, one at Lewis. He can't do that for her.
Mallet meets with Vanessa on Main Street. She wants an update on her daughter. He tells her that she is still recovering and asks if she can give Dinah easier assignments. Vanessa doesn't feel that she can put her daughter on TV in the condition she is in; it's not fair to her or her career. She offers him money to take Dinah to a specialist, but he turns her down. Vanessa has to drop her contract because, if she doesn't, the network will and they won't be nice about it. Mallet asks her to let him break the news to Dinah.

At Towers, Cyrus and Alexandra toast to one another. She can see how much he is enjoying being rich. They start to dance and she tries to make plans for their evening. He already has plans of his own though. 'I'm not Mr Alexandra Spaulding, you're Mrs Cyrus Foley,' he reminds her. She laughs, admitting that she isn't out to control how he spends his time. He slips away to see Marina at headquarters. He has to duck away when Frank walks by. When another detective comes in, Cyrus has to pretend to be reporting suspicious activity. A call comes in for a robbery at Towers. He grabs her keys and offers to drive. As he runs out to the car, she runs after him. When they get to Towers, she starts to ask questions while a waiter slips into the elevator with a bag of loot. Cyrus is already there waiting for him and smacks him to the floor. After Marina collects the perp, Cyrus smiles and tells her that this was fun. When she's gone, he turns and finds Dinah standing there. 'I need some money and I need your help getting it,' she tells him. He's taken aback. Meanwhile, Alexandra arrives at headquarters to look for her missing husband. She asks Marina about the job offer she got for a spot working security in Washington. Marina has a feeling that Alex was behind the offer and isn't taking it. Now her shift is over and she wants to go. Alexandra reminds her that she has been playing this game a lot longer than she has and she is better at it.

At Cedars, Rafe tells Daisy that he likes being around Alan; it feels good to be a Spaulding. Daisy assures him that Alan isn't cool, he's evil and he will change him. She's sure that Alan wants something from him. He's sure that he does too, but Alan is like a king or a godfather; he only has to snap his fingers and things happen. He can learn a lot from someone like that. She needs to stop worrying. 'Be careful,' she says, kissing him before going back to her father's side.

At the mansion, Natalia cries and apologizes for being unable to turn Gus away when he came to her. Harley is shocked that Gus actually slept with her. Does this mean that Natalia is going to start fighting for him now? She would never go after a married man; it's against everything she believes in. 'But Gus was yours first so you decided this would be an exception?' Harley angrily asks. She doesn't believe that any of this was a mistake. She is sure that Natalia came to Springfield with a plan. Natalia swears that she didn't, but she admits that she had thoughts of Gus being a father to Rafe. She tried to put all of that aside when she found out about Harley. Although she apologizes profusely, she reminds Harley that this was not all her fault. 'You're right about that,' Harley says. When Natalia brings up what's going on between her and Dylan, Harley grabs her by the shoulders and starts to shout that she has no right to bring that into this. 'That man [Gus] is everything to me! He is my heart and soul...he would always be faithful to me,' Harley cries. Natalia tells her that Gus said what he did with her was a huge mistake. The only thing that he could think of is how hurt she would be. Harley feels like she's lost something she'll never get back: Trust. Natalia tells her to go to Gus and give him a chance to explain; he really loves her. Harley doesn't want to hear this from her; she need to hate her, not have her being nice.

Billy is visiting his son in his hospital room. Dylan still has difficulty moving in bed. Billy told him that if he went after Harley bad things would happen. Dylan is annoyed that his father doesn't seem to understand what he's going through. All he did was kiss Harley and Gus tried to kill him for it. When the painkillers start to wear off, Billy is about to leave to get the doctor when he finds Buzz waiting. How many times does he have to tell Dylan to stay away from his daughter? he wonders.

Billy takes Buzz into the hall as Buzz demands to know what's going on with Gus. They suspect that Gus may already be with Natalia. 'It would break my daughter's heart,' Buzz says. He gets on his phone and calls Frank. They meet up and worry about what is going on with Harley. As they walk down Main Street, a distraught Harley runs by. They chase her home. She collapses on the couch crying while the men yell through the door at her. Buzz tells her that she and Gus can patch things up. 'Like you and Olivia did?' she calls out. Daisy arrives and asks her mother to open the door. When she ignores this, Daisy has the men lift her up to one of the windows so she can slip in. After climbing inside, she finds her mother crying and tries to comfort her. She knows what it's like to want to be with someone when you can't be. She assures her mother that she will make things up with Gus. Harley smiles; her daughter is actually starting to sound like her. Daisy asks again what Gus did, but Harley can't say it. As she turns and cries, Daisy tells her that, no matter what, she will still be there for her. Harley hugs her daughter. Moments later, they arrive at Cedars as Dylan is getting ready to leave for rehab. Harley decides that she is going to go with him. Buzz walks in, unhappy to hear this and asks to speak to his daughter. She tells him that she needs to get away. Her marriage may already be over, she tells him as she wheels Dylan away. Meanwhile, Gus returns to an empty house.

Left alone, Natalia sits in the dark until Rafe arrives and turns the light on. Seeing how upset she is, he asks her what's wrong. She takes her son for a walk and shows him a picture of Gus. He was her first love; that's why she's been so strict about he and Daisy; she knows how intense first love can be. He tells her that she deserves more than just him in her life; if Gus is what she wants, she should go for it.
