Gus tries to have a heart-to-heart with Rafe, Dylan visits his daughter, Matt and Vanessa get back together, Mallet gives in to Griggs, Buzz and Cyrus talk about Jenna.

At home, Gus is happy to see that Rafe is actually a Cub's fan. He sits down with his new found son and tries to talk about sports. Harley sits down across from them and tells them that her family will be stopping by. Rafe is more interested in Gus' family and, as Gus explains who his biological father is, Rafe thinks that he should be coming by. 'Well, let's have cake,' Harley says, rather inappropriately. Rafe becomes annoyed and walks away. Turning to Zach, Harley notices a syringe sitting by him. When she asks him where he got it, he says that it came from his big brother. Seeing that Harley is ready to jump on Rafe, Gus tries to calm her down. That doesn't work. When Rafe rears his head, Harley starts to lash out and point the needle at him. He walks out and Gus follows after him, disappointed that Harley didn't let him talk first. Outside, Gus finds Rafe trying to fix the chain on a bike. Gus tries to give him some advice, but Rafe thinks that he talks too much. After a few mumbles, Gus tries to explain Harley's reaction by telling his son about his own drug problems. His son isn't interested at first, but Gus thinks that they need to talk about the last sixteen years of their lives. He tells Rafe about his addiction and how only Harley and the kids let him survive. Rafe isn't doing drugs though, he has diabetes. Gus apologizes and asks him to go back in and try again. Inside, Rafe spots a photo of Harley and Daisy. 'You know what? I'm staying,' he decides.

Daisy is writing a letter to Rafe, though she doesn't know where to send it. Afterwards, she walks out to the visitor's area to see her father. He apologizes for not being there before but he was tied up with work. Reva told him that she has a guy in her life. She claims that he's just 'a friend' and they haven't 'done' anything. She tries to describe Rafe, but doesn't have much luck. Dylan's snuck her in some treats and she thanks him, but asks if it was really his idea to put her in there. Not really answering, he smiles as she tells him that she's learned her lesson from being in there and really wants to live with Harley. He offers to make some calls and she hugs him.

Marina is in bed at The Beacon when Frank bursts in. She's startled to see him. He cases the room and suggests that they should have a meal or something but she knows that he's just trying to catch Cyrus with her. 'You need to get over your obsession,' she tells him. 'Fine, as soon as you get over yours,' he shoots back. Sitting down, he confesses that he used to follow her when she first joined the force; he was so scared that she would get hurt. She knew, it was a bit obvious, but she appreciated it anyway. He apologizes again for shooting her, but she tells him to let it go and assure shim that she's not doing 'anything' with Cyrus. He gets a call from a cop that's been following Cyrus. After an update and Frank says that he'll be there.

At Company, Cyrus is chatting with Buzz when the subject of Jenna comes up. She was a legend, Cyrus says admiringly. 'She gave it up,' Buzz says, eating a pretzel, 'for love.' Cyrus smiles. When he asks Buzz for details, he puts up the closed sign, smiles and pours them some coffee. He tells Cyrus that when it's worth it, no matter kind of person they are, cop or criminal, you make it work. They start drinking while Buzz relates his Jenna stories. 'And she retired to a life as wife and a mother?' Cyrus asks. Buzz wonders if he's willing to play Jeeves to Alexandra. Cyrus is grateful to her; of all the wealthy women he's met and conned in his life, he's never met one like her. Unfortunately, Alexandra is standing in the doorway and listening in. Before she can say anything, Frank runs in, angry that his father is drinking with Cyrus. Marina rushes in the other door. As Frank interrogates his father, everyone tells him to back off. Seeing that his son seems disappointed that he can't catch Cyrus out, Buzz tries to reason with, but Frank is busy staring at Cyrus as he chats with Marina. Cyrus follows her outside, surprised that, at his age, he still has to fight with protective fathers. She reminds him that they promised to stay apart. He sits with her and they smile at each other until Alexandra interrupts. Time to get back to work. When Marina goes back inside, Buzz tells her that everyone deserves a second chance. She's not sure that's what Cyrus wants. 'You'll never know until you give him a chance,' Buzz says, and she's the only one that can make that call.

Unable to stop thinks of Griggs' threats, Mallet takes out his silver briefcase and begins polishing his gun. Griggs calls, disappointed that there is no news about Matt Reardon dying. Mallet tells him that there's another way, but this is the only way, Griggs insists. As he reiterates his threats against Dinah, Mallet tells him to check his newspaper again tomorrow. As he hides his gun, Dinah comes out in her towel and puts her arms around him and his shiny leather jacket. She can feel the gun and pulls it out. 'Honey, this is not your service revolver,' she remarks, knowing exactly what this means. Mallet just wants to keep her safe. She insists that there are other options. They go down to Main Street and continue debating their options when a car almost hits her. He helps her off the ground and she insists that she's fine: It was just an accident. They walk toward Company and Griggs calls again. Breaking a sweat, Mallet relents and promises Griggs that he will get what he wants.

Afterwards, Dinah and Mallet go into Company and find Matt and Vanessa. They've decided to give it another try and Matt has made a new deal to get them money and out of their troubles. Mallet glues a smile to his face and tries to act happy. After congratulating her mother, Dinah has to leave for a phone call. They pour champagne and toast before Mallet asks to take Matt out to look at something. Dinah returns and Vanessa explains where they went. Mallet takes Matt down to the water and tells him that the people he owes aren't interested in repayment: They want to make him an example. Mallet takes out his gun and takes aim.
