(WesRamsey.com)
Wes Ramsey is back on television again. Guiding Light viewers will know the actor best for his portrayal of Sam Spencer, Olivia's younger brother. He recently returned to the show for an episode when his sister's heart problems seemed their most dire. Although he may not be coming back to Springfield any time soon, he will be appearing on the small screen for a new project by the sci-fi channel.

Ramsey is playing the part of Peter Easton in the made-for-TV flick,"The Immortal Voyage of Captain Drake." He joins Adrian Paul and Temuera Morrison in the cast of the adventure movie. It follows real life explorer Francis Drake on a fantastic journey as he searches for the Tree of Life. On his search, he does battle with the Spanish Armada, some sea monsters, a Persian sorceress and even a Norse God. Check your local listings for air dates.

Since he was last scene on GL, Ramsey has been in the straight to video thriller "Dark Honeymoon" and played famed author Bram Stoker in the Australian horror movie, "Dracula's Guest."

Soaps.com wishes him all the best with his current work and hope to see him return to Springfield again some day.
