In the coming days, you may notice that Clayton Boudreau isn't who he used to be... in more ways than one. Actually, that's not entirely true. As was
mentioned in this interview, the patriarch of the Boudreau family is no longer being played by award-winning talk show host Montel Williams, but by the man who had the role before him. The part will once again be played by Peter Francis James and audiences will be seeing a very different side of the character.
An accomplished stage actor and co-star of the film "Rosa Parks," he's been no stranger to television screens since the late 1970s. He's been on "Third Watch" and "Law & Order: SVU," but he's also been on "Gossip Girl," along with fellow
GL actor Zach Conroy (James Spaulding). In addition to the time he put in as Clayton between November of 2003 to March of 2004, he also acted on fellow P&G soap
As The World Turns, playing Blake Stevens from 1989-1990. Just for the sake of trivia, audiences may have also caught him on Robert Bogue's (A.C. Mallet) former haunt, "Oz."
This year, the actor will also be seen in the feature films "The Messenger" and "The Rebound." Look for him as Clayton on May 12.
Soaps.com welcomes him back to Springfield.
