David Andrew Macdonald (Edmund Winslow) will first appear in Springfield on January 22!
(As reported on November 20)
In an exciting new piece of casting news, it's been announced that David Andrew MacDonald (Edmund Winslow) will be returning to Guiding Light. Edmund, of course, was last seen slipping into a coma last winter. Although this is always a dodgy situation for a soap character, it also means they could return at any time, and without much warning. Will Edmund be out for revenge? And what will he do back in Springfield now that Cassie has flown the coup?
Since leaving the show, the actor has been busy with a stream of stage appearances, including Oberon in Hartford Stage's production of "A Midsummer Night's Dream" this past fall. More recently he was seen in a production of "Happy Now" by the Yale Repertory Theatre. He was expected to appear back on the Hartford Stage for their annual, much loved, production of "A Christmas Carol" when the character of Edmund was suddenly called to return.
Details of the return and precise date have yet to be released, but Soaps.com will keep you informed as they come to light!
