Not the Easiest People To Love.

Phillip wakes up James and tells him they have to help Lizzie fix up her house. He heads over and begins hammering loudly on the lawn to wake up the newlyweds. When Bill looks out the window, Phillip yells at him to get up. When they realize he won't leave, they go down. As Bill goes outside, Lizzie calls her mother to ask her why Phillip is hammering on their lawn at 5:45 in the morning. She takes coffee out to her father and Bill.

Phillip sees Matt and Beth arrive at the house and asks his daughter if they are together yet. The work crew arrives and Phillip begins issuing orders. He walks over to Bill and questions him about Matt. Phillip sends Matt to work with Beth. He sees his son arrive. James tries to leave. As Phillip stops him Beth comes over and asks him why he is pushing Matt on her. "I don't need a man in my life, but if I want one, I'll find him on my own," she says. He turns around and begins yelling at James to stay and work. As Phillip screams, Matt approaches and suggests that James go up the hill and dig up a stump. Phillip laughs nervously and tries to calm down. Instead, he runs up the hill, grabs the shovel away from his son, knocks him down and begins yelling at him. James runs.

Bill does a strip routine for Lizzie and they have sex.

I Don't Want Barney Fife In My House!

Lizzie and Bill sit on their porch and talk about the future. They talk about how proud he is of his sister getting her life together. When he mentions that Dinah stopped by the office on her wedding night, Lizzie thinks that's odd.

Lizzie, Bill and Matt go to the minimart to pick things up.

Lizzie, Bill, Matt and Beth sit on the porch and look at color swatches until Phillip arrives. His daughter tells him how much she loves the house. Bill and Lizzie announce they will host their first Thanksgiving in the house. Beth isn't sure that's realistic.

Lillian and Beth are at the house. Beth says that Phillip seems fine and asks her mother if there is something she should know. Bill and Lizzie walk around the corner when Frank calls Bill to tell him about Dinah's confession. "How many times can one person screw up their life?" he asks Lizzie.

I Ruin Everything I Touch.

Dinah drops by the office to see her brother. He tells her what a disaster his house is and congratulates her on her wedding again. She hates all the time that they wasted and wishes they had grown up together more. As she apologizes for everything, he insists that they are passed all of that and they will have a happy future.

It Was All Lies!

Bill and Lizzie are going around their house making a list of things they have to fix. He promises her that they can raise their kids and Sarah there together. They turn on the fans and he pulls out an inflatable bed. When they try to fill it up, the fuse blows. After he checks the basement, he tells her that they need to call an electrician. She can't live without a fan in August and wants to go back to the hotel. He wets a rag and starts rubbing her.

When Matt and Beth get to Bill and Lizzie's, they walk in on them half-naked. The newlyweds make excuses and then slip off to dress. Bill asks Matt if he can get the power running again. As the men discuss plans for the house, Lizzie and Beth talk about Phillip. She says that she's only heard from him once since he went away and insists that she has no future with him. After Beth and Matt leave, the newlyweds hear water running. Bill discovers that there's a leak and runs off to call Matt.
