Sometimes Goodbye Sounds a lot Like Hello.

Natalia tells her son that she's been meeting with his guidance counselor and is worried about him. He's not dropping out of school but he will do what he wants, he says. No matter what he does though, he doesn't want to make her mistake and wait fifteen years to be with Daisy just to find out it's too late.

Daisy is applying for a rental application using a false ID. Later, she meets with Rafe on Main Street and excitedly tells him that she pulled it off. Now all they need is money for a deposit. When Daisy returns home, she helps her mother unpack her groceries. Although it becomes clear that money is now tight, Daisy reluctantly asks for cash for a field trip. They start to argue and Daisy says that she regrets having Harley for a mother. After storming out, she hurries over to Company and meets with Rafe, angry that her mother has money and time for Cyrus but not for her. She goes over to Towers and orders a Cosmo. A boy meets her and asks her to get him a fake ID too, offering her money in exchange.

He Set Me Up!

Outside of Company, Gus runs into Daisy. She misses seeing him around and so do her brothers. He congratulates her on getting back together with Rafe. He's glad that his son is with someone like her. Rafe appears and starts to chew his father out for his involvement with Olivia. Gus walks away and Daisy repeats to Rafe that she wishes they had a place of their own. They go looking for apartments right after this. He's not thrilled with the dump she decides to take but she just wants a place for them to be alone together, away from her mom. When they interview with the super, they realize that there is no way they can afford to live in the place and she will have to go back to Harley's.

Gus walks into Harley's house and runs into Cyrus. They share an awkward moment and Gus explains that Harley dropped her keys at Company. He gives them to Cyrus and tells him that he'll take the boys to baseball next week. After Gus leaves, Harley returns and starts to ramble about losing her keys and how guilty she feels about Marina. Cyrus tells her that Gus dropped off the keys and then drops them down her blouse. He cleans up and she is sure that no one they invited will come. He reminds her that he came with a price and if it's too high... "We'll make it work," she says, kissing him. Meanwhile, Daisy calls Rafe to say that there is no one else who she can trust.

Women Always Cry Around Me.

Daisy and Harley start sorting socks to calm down. Daisy doesn't think this is normal and points out that their roles seem to be reversed. Harley tells her that she is doing everything for the family. "I don't want to fold anymore," Daisy says, throwing a sock at her mother and walking away. She goes to the school where she finds Rafe shooting hoops. She tells him that her mother can't keep her hands off the "crocodile man" and she keeps catching them making out all over the house. They talk about how much grown-ups suck and leave to get something to eat.

Rafe and Daisy take Jude out for some food. She kisses him and he asks her if this means that they are going out again. She'll do him one better than that; she asks him to get a place and live with her.

I'm Angry

Natalia and Rafe are sitting in the church when Daisy appears, she calls the boy away and they go fishing while Natalia stays behind to pray.

My Heart is Skipping Beats

Olivia and Emma go for a walk. She breathlessly sits down on the Main Street bench and sends her daughter off to get hot chocolate. Gus spots her and sits down beside her. She's glad that he worries about her and calls Emma over to say hello to "Uncle Gus". Moments later, Natalia and Rafe walk around the corner. She tries to hold her son back from lashing out at his father when he spots him with Olivia. Gus tries to talk to him but only get threats in response. Natalia breaks them up and sends Gus off. She explains to her son that she wants Gus to spend time with Olivia but they're just friends and that's it. Rafe tells her that Gus is a cheater. He cheated on Harley with her and now he'll cheat on her with Olivia. As he walks away, she looks back at Gus as he chats with Olivia and Emma.

When Cyrus gets outside, he meets Harley and they tell Daisy and Ashlee that they have to go to work. The two young women start talking about Daisy's awkward sex life. She doesn't think things will ever be the way they used to be. After handing Ashlee a bag of cake, Rafe appears and starts to kiss Daisy, making Ashlee uncomfortable. She walks off and Rafe tells Daisy that he doesn't want to live his life for his parents anymore. They kiss and Natalia appears, less than thrilled to see them together. Daisy tells her it's not what it looks like. Rafe tells his mother that she can ruin her own life if she wants to but he won't let her ruin his. "You may not want to fight for Gus, but I'm fighting for Daisy," he says defiantly, taking Daisy away with him. Alone, Natalia resists calling Gus.

On Hiatus

Gus rushes over to see Olivia. He tells her that he and Natalia are taking a "hiatus". Olivia tells him how much she needs him, especially now that Alan knows she's sick. He assures her that he will protect her from Alan. As they embrace, Natalia eavesdrops from the hallway. Her son appears and tells her that he's worried about her and Gus. She tells him not to worry about fighting her battles for her.
