Frank arrives, still worrying about Harley. Buzz starts talking about what to serve at Reva's wedding when Cyrus walks in. Frank tries to throw him out but Buzz stops him. They walk away as Natalia walks in. She asks Frank what she missed. He offers to get her something to eat. She tells him he can talk about his parenting problems with her. He scribbles on a napkin and hands it to her. It's a coupon for a dinner date with him. He's shy. She tells him it's a good deal. She wants to ask Buzz for some more hours; she doesn't need spare time to sit around worrying about her son. Buzz wanders back and starts rambling about spare ribs before he runs off. They talk about Frank's first wife, how he fell in love with her and things became too complicated. "It's so hard letting go," she says, giving him a little kiss. He tells her that he tried to take Daisy to Harley but she was nowhere to be found. He's sure that Harley and Rafe are safe. She still worries.
Frank walks her up to her room and tells her that her son misses her. Natalia reminds him that lying is a sin but thanks him for trying to make her feel better. She admits that she feels like she's going crazy... she even went to see Alan about his Gus visions. Frank begs her not to go near Alan again. He wants to say more to her, but she has to change for work. After she changes, Alan calls with a message for Gus. She is relieved; she's been praying for a sign. She offers to take the first plane out.
Natalia sits at Company and stares down at a photo of her son. She goes to see Alan at his house. He talks to her in the doorway. She worries about Rafe. He invites her into his meeting with all the other women. She decides this was a mistake and runs off. Alan follows but she gets away. Lizzie sits on the lawn and reminds him that no one trusts him. He wonders why she got them a house and put he and Beth back together then. She has no one else. "You and Bill weren't meant to be," he says. Bill isn't meant to have what he has and he will lose it all, just like he will never be able to make her happy.
Natalia runs into Olivia at Company. She admits that she went to see Alan about Gus and tells her of the women who follow him. "Whatever he's selling, don't buy it," Olivia advises. Besides, she reminds her, Natalia knew Gus better than Alan ever did.
When Alan gets home, a group of women are waiting for him. He tells them that he is a fraud. He was once a CEO who would run over anyone to get ahead but he was only a scared little boy inside. He tells them that his father used to lock him in a closet, but meeting his son Gus let him out of the dark. After losing him, he has learned to reach out to share with other people. Natalia and Olivia listen at a distance.
Blake runs into Natalia at Towers. She's waiting for Frank to pick her up. Blake tells her that he's a good guy, like the other Coopers. But it must be hard for her to live in the town with the "Gus and Harley thing". What Gus and Harley had doesn't bother Natalia; she's bothered because Harley has her son. Taking him on the run just means that he is in "jail forever" with Harley. After Blake leaves, Frank arrives. Natalia can't believe she is stuck there with the family that let Harley run off with her son. He asks her to get something to eat. She just wants a ride home; she's not mad at him, just everyone else. He misses his sister. Ever since Gus died, she melted down. They both worry that Rafe must be scared to death with her.
Natalia thanks Frank for the ride back to the boarding house. He asks her out to a concert but she has to work.
Alan and Natalia sit at the picnic table. She feels like she doesn't belong. Neither does he: He's never even invited to these things; he just shows up. "Gus would want us here today," he says. She wishes Gus would just keep an eye on their son. Alan spots Rick and walks over to wish him a happy Fourth. "I know what it's like to lose Beth," he says, leaving Beth and Rick alone to talk. They walk off to chat. Sitting down, she reminds him that he was her best friend in high school and he is someone she still loves and counts on. "Maybe we just reached too high and should have appreciated what we had?" she asks. She doesn't want to lose her best friend.
At Towers, Olivia and Dinah are going over the seating arrangements and the important society attendees. Natalia approaches them and they discover she is tending bar.
Olivia congratulates Bill for getting Remy out of the house. Bill apologizes for Dinah being so overwhelmed, and thinks she is working through it all. Olivia suggests relocating her. They embrace, as Natalia watches. Natalia scolds her for trying to come between Bill and Dinah. Natalia leaves to take a break.
