Gus, Natalia and Rafe go down to CO2. Daisy rushes over to him and they embrace. The reunion is short lived as Gus promptly breaks them up and tells Daisy to go home. Rafe protests that he won't 'jump her bones right there in the street.' Gus tells them to calm down; he and Nat have already arranged to have them put in separate home rooms and changed their classes. They've also warned their teachers about them and Natalia will be volunteering at the school to keep an eye on them. After, Gus takes Natalia back to the mansion where they find Remy waiting for her. Gus is not happy about this, particularly as he watches Remy spin Natalia around and promise to take her out for margaritas. Gus takes her aside, making no secret of the fact that this bothers him, but she won't break her date. As she leaves to get ready, Remy tells Gus that he's too late. As he takes a drink, Gus tries to convince him that Natalia needs to spend time with her family. This all sounds 'lame' to Remy and he walks out, promising to give Nat all of the 'quality time' he can.
Jeffrey goes down to Company and meets with his contact, one of Alan's pilots. Jeffrey asks him why he has made several legally dubious trips to Cuba lately. He's willing to overlook this if he answers some questions for him. 'I working for Mr Spaulding not you, ' the pilot says before walking away. Moments later, the pilot calls Alan, who becomes outraged at this and smashes his phone down. Natalia catches him acting furious and tells him to calm down: He's Alan Spaulding and he never loses. He thanks her for the reminder and asks her to accompany him to the Spaulding gala. She can't say 'no'. When she walks out, he immediately calls Reva and tells her that she needs to get away from Jeffrey. He's worried that she'll give them away when she's drunk or talking in her sleep and reminds her that she has as much to lose as he does if Jeffery finds out the truth.
Gus remembers going to see Edward Scissorhands with Natalia. Afterwards, he carved their initials into the wall of the diner. From that point on, he could never stop thinking about her. Their first time was on a rooftop. It would have been nice if there was a ceiling but...he felt lucky anyway. Meanwhile, Natalia admits that she was ready to wait, afraid that she would be struck down by lightning if she made the wrong choice (she was very Catholic). Since she and Gus got together on a roof, she figured that would give the lightning a clear shot. Her first time really brought her closer to her 'Nicky': Her first, her last, her only love. Harley remembers her first time with Dylan in his dumpy old truck. Him in his leather jacket on his squeaky vinyl seats. Dylan remembers how fun Harley was; how much she made him laugh and made him crazy. He just wishes that he'd held onto her when he had the chance.
Gus and Natalia sit on the Main Street bench while Daisy and Rafe meet up, ready to get together. Rafe goes over to the newsstand to buy some gum and condoms when his mother surprises him. He tries to downplay this and get rid of her by promising her that everything is fine and good. Once he gets his stuff, he turns around to find Gus standing behind him. He wants to have some family time but Rafe nervously tells him that he has to go and 'do some science experiments'.
Gus goes back to the mansion to see his son but only Natalia is there. Meanwhile, Harley answers the trespassing call and finds Rafe and Daisy in the boat house. She's furious and starts to question them before sending them out to the car. She drags them up to the mansion where she is surprised to see Gus standing with Natalia. Harley forces Rafe to tell his parents what he was doing with Daisy. Natalia and Gus aren't happy but Rafe claims that he really cares about Daisy and they've been responsible. That's not enough for their parents who can't help but think of their own mistakes. 'We understand how we feel about each other; what else is there?' Rafe asks. Gus splits the young couple up, but Daisy repeats that they cannot stop them from seeing each other. Harley takes her daughter home. Daisy doesn't want to be lonely and miserable like her mother. She loves Rafe and he won't hurt her. She just wants tonight to hers. Harley hugs her daughter. 'I'm sorry,' Daisy finally says, but Harley knows she's not and hugs her again anyway.
Daisy walks around with some other school girls while they text their boyfriends. She spots Rafe and rushes over to him. As they start to chat, a cop grabs her and cuffs her. She's under arrest for assaulting Alan's butler, Jeremy. Meanwhile, at the mansion, Gus bumps into Natalia. 'You look like hell,' she says. He knows. She tells them that they should keep their distance. She knows that he could end up back with Harley anytime and she doesn't want to mess that up. He shouldn't be getting jealous when he sees her with Remy though. Gus starts to mumble and Rafe runs in, breathlessly telling his parents that Daisy has just been arrested and needs their help. Natalia tells him to go back to school. Across town, Daisy is taken into jail, Marina and Frank soon come to see her. They're sure that Alan must have put Doris up to having her arrested. As they rush off to look into it, Rafe walks in and grabs some keys sitting on the desk. If Frank can't fix things, he'll have to, he explains as he unlocks the cell and they rush off.
As Harley returns home, Gus and Natalia arrive to tell her that Daisy has been arrested. She tells them that they should call Alan. He'd probably be so thrilled to see Gus and Nat together that he would drop the whole thing. Gus follows Harley inside and promises her that he isn't together with Natalia. He can't call Alan anyway; no one knows where he is. Harley reminds Gus that he's a Spaulding and he needs to 'throw his weight around' to get Daisy out of this. Natalia points out that this is a pretty rich request coming from Harley. Frank suddenly calls: Rafe grabbed the keys and broke Daisy out! Gus tries to assure her that Daisy will be fine, but she keeps staring daggers at him and Natalia.
Rafe and Daisy make their way to the mansion and try to talk the butler out of pressing charges against her. He's not receptive to the suggestion. Frank and some of his men rush in, ready to take her back into custody. Rafe starts to panic and pushes the butler around before the cops grab him. Rafe tells Jeremy, the butler, not to let Alan bully him into this. Daisy is a good kid and she's trying to get her life back together. Frank is ready to take her away, but Jeremy stops him: He wants to drop all charges. Daisy runs into Rafe's arms and hugs him. Gus wonders about the break out but Frank will take care of that; surveillance tapes have a habit of getting lost. Daisy and Rafe go into the hallway. Harley watches as her daughter stares into Rafe's eyes and tells him that she has found someone she can truly count on and believe in. She doesn't want to wait anymore; she wants to be with him. Harley turns and sees Gus talking to Natalia. Franks asks her if she's okay. 'All's well that ends well,' he says, kissing her cheek. When he walks out with everyone else, she stays behind a moment, remembering breaking things off with Gus. She somberly takes off her wedding ring.
On Main Street, Daisy assures her mother that she will be fine in her senior year of high school. She's more worried about Harley's lack of sleep and generally worrying behavior now that Gus is out of her life. Looking across the square, she sees Gus and tries to look away. He walks over with Natalia and Rafe close behind. The other woman assures Harley that they didn't come there with him; it's all a coincidence. They all try to be polite as they send the children off to class. Once they're gone, the ladies start their regular routine of veiled insults and accusations. 'I'm the one losing him now and, for the record, I think my pain is greater than yours.' Harley concludes. Natalia moves off and Gus asks Harley if they've been reduced to only being friends. 'We're not friends. Friends can count on each other,' she says. She can't do this anymore; it just doesn't work. As she turns to walk way, he tells her that he will still be there to help with the boys.
Gus and Natalia return to the mansion. She isn't going to encourage him to go back to Harley; she just doesn't see it happening. She may not have wanted to break them up when she came to town, but she's glad that she didn't leave as she planned. He's glad too...it's let him get to know his son. He just wishes that Alan wasn't meddling in their lives but he admits that he chose to go to bed with her. He asks to her to sit down and talk through things with him when Remy suddenly arrives. She informs Gus that she already has plans. He asks her to change them, but that's not going to happen. She tells him to talk to Harley and walks out.
