Natalia arrives at Company and tells Buzz that she has qualified for a home equity loan. As he looks the papers over, he tells her that if she signs them, she may as well kiss her house goodbye. He goes over the tiny print with her and explains everything that's wrong with this. When she leaves, she calls the bank and says that she's not interested in the loan anymore.
Ashlee tracks Daisy down at Company and gushes about how her mother apologized to her. Daisy starts to rant about how Marina has ruined her plan to help Rafe. Buzz sticks his head in and offers to talk to Marina. When he lets it slip that Rafe is having a hard time in prison, Daisy runs upstairs to see Natalia. She apologizes for all of the trouble that she's caused. Natalia says that none of this is her fault. Daisy is sure that it is and thinks that everyone would have been better off if she hadn't brought them there. Natalia says she should be glad that she brought Gus and his son together. Things just don't always turn out the way you want them to. Daisy still wants to help. They both feel like they keep failing Rafe. Daisy misses both of her moms. Talking to Natalia has helped her decide what she has to do.
Alone, Natalia prays to Gus for guidance about what to do for their son. Rafe calls to check in on her. Their call is only allowed to last a minute. She claims that she is fine. He doesn't believe her. The call ends. She promises to get him out no matter what it takes. Letting down her hair, she goes to see Russo.
At Company, Frank is looking after the place while Buzz is off. He runs into Natalia. She tells him that she only has two jobs now. As she looks through the want ads, she wonders about going to work at a 'gentleman's club'. Frank claims he's never been to one... or, only on police business. She asks him if she'd be pretty enough. "No!" he snaps before correcting himself and telling her that she is too beautiful to be a cocktail waitress in a strip joint. She wonders how she will pay her bills then... "Work here," he offers. She jumps up and gives him a hug before leaving to get ready to see her son. When she gets up to her room, she searches through the yellow pages for a rental car. She has no luck since she only has cash and credit card.
Natalia runs into Olivia at The Beacon. Olivia quickly tells her that Ava is not coming back but she doesn't want to talk about it. They begin arguing and Olivia finds out that Natalia's car is in the shop and she can't get it out and can't rent a car so she can't see her son. Olivia offers to drive her to see Rafe. Natalia turns her down and apologizes. Olivia tells her to forget it; she needs to do something so she offers again to drive her.
Natalia and Olivia wait at the prison. Rafe is brought in with a black eye. Natalia demands to know what happened. Rafe won't answer. Olivia snaps and tells him to show his mother some respect. He doesn't want her to worry but admits that things can get scary. Natalia tells him about the lawyer they got him. The guard announces that time is up. She tells her son to be careful. He's sure that Gus will look out for him. He's taken away. Olivia wonders if he still believes in Alan's visions. Natalia still hasn't told him about Alan's problems. As for herself, she just believes in God now. She decides it's time to go and see Rafe's attorney.
Natalia meets Vince Russo at Towers. He finishes a martini and offers her one. She makes it clear to him that she doesn't make the kind of money that Olivia does and wonders if there is some way they can cut the cost, like doing office work for him. "I'm sure we can work out an arrangement," he says, putting his hand on her and smiling. She's not smiling back.
Natalia runs into Frank outside of the boarding house. She explains that she missed seeing her son yesterday because of car troubles. She asks him if he knows anyone at the prison to get her in to see him. He can't promise her anything. They go inside Company and he tries calling a friend to get her in. He has no luck and asks Coop and Rick who else they can call. They brainstorm but it's going nowhere. Natalia thanks them for helping. Frank hugs her and says he'd do anything for her. She walks away.
Natalia goes to see Jeffrey while he works on his car. She asks him if there is any way she can get in to see her son. He doubts it. She asks him what he thinks about Vince Russo and wonders if she could do as well with someone less expensive. He doubts a public defender could do the same job. She says she'll make it work. After she leaves, Reva arrives. She tells him that they are not taking the sports car on their honeymoon. They go inside and he talks about Ava's return. She says he can stay but he's sure they should go. Ava still doesn't know that they're pregnant. Turning on her computer, she shows him the RV she wants. He doesn't want to be 'one of those guys' he says. She's anxious that she hasn't gotten any new emails from Shayne. He goes outside and tells her that he is taking Olivia a present for Ava, but, when he gets back, it's honeymoon time. "It's always honeymoon time with us," she laughs.
Natalia shows up at work. She's late again. Her boss tells her that they have to let her go. She walks over to Cedars and asks Lillian if she can have a few more hours, even though she doesn't have an official job. Lillian tells her that there is a freeze on hiring. Natalia thanks her anyway and walks off to check on Alan. His room is empty. Father Ray appears and tells her that Alan in off being tested. He asks her if she'd like to talk. "Is God punishing me?" she asks. They sit down. She tells him she put so much faith in Alan's visions, but now it seems that they were just part of a medical condition. She lists all of her problems. He's sorry. She hates being pathetic and feels like she is being punished for putting faith in Alan. He tells her she isn't being punished and God loves her. Every day gets harder for her, she says. That's why she needs to keep her faith, he explains. After he leaves, she walks into Alan's room and begins to cry. Frank finds her in tears. He backs away before she can see him. He's unable to say anything. Walking down to Lillian, he hands her the concert tickets and asks her to take his father.
