Natalia is shocked that Decker and the Xiaos have arrived a day early. He thought she got his message earlier. Before she can say 'no', Olivia covers and pretends everything is fine. They begin making small talk and Nat and Olivia slip into the kitchen. They have no food, just pans. Olivia tells her to make martinis quick. Olivia sits with her guests. Emma runs down. Olivia tries to get her to show off her spelling talents while Natalia searches for food. Buzz calls and she tells him that she needs food. He admits that it's his fault they are there a night early and he's already had the food sent over. It's sitting in a cooler. As she starts to prepare the food, Olivia does her best to kill time with the guests. Natalia suddenly comes out with martinis in glass jars. She explains that these are a family tradition and talks about how Olivia always insists on keeping everything simple and traditional. The guests are impressed and toast to her. After dinner, the Xiaos thank Olivia and leave. Decker shakes her hand and tells her how impressed he is. Once he's gone, the women sit down to relax and Olivia tells her that she was poor once too. Natalia slips into the kitchen to call Buzz and thank him.
Natalia and Olivia return to The Beacon. She tells Olivia that Buzz is the one who changed the dinner to tonight. "Remind me to smack him," Olivia says. They put Emma to bed and say goodnight. Natalia leaves and heads back to Cassie's. Olivia calls, knowing she would go there. She reminds her that the house is for sale. Natalia doesn't want to talk about it.
Cyrus' Christmas Carol.
At Company, Natalia is finishing her shift and taking calls from The Beacon. Buzz tells her that she doesn't have to keep working for him if she is too busy and worries that Olivia is taking advantage of her. Natalia insists that is not the case.
At The Beacon, Emma tells Olivia about her day. Olivia is obviously exhausted but tries to be interested. She calls Natalia and tells her that she needs her. Soon, Natalia arrives. Emma worries about her mother. Natalia sends her off to get some water and threatens to call an ambulance for Olivia. She doesn't. Olivia tells her that's because she realizes that they need each other. She explains that Natalia needs to feel virtuous and needs someone to mother; that's why she is really there. Suddenly, Decker calls to announce that he is at Towers with the Xiaos, the heads of Galaxy in Macao, and they are eager to meet Olivia. When Natalia explains this to Olivia, she insists that they go through with this. Grabbing the phone from Nat, she tells Decker that she would love to attend the meeting. Natalia shakes her head in disbelief. Getting off the phone, Olivia claims that she used to be 'impossible' but now she's 'breezy'. She announces that they will be using Cassie's house and Nat can cater the meeting.
Natalia goes to Company to pick up some supplies and food. Frank and Buzz tease her about who she might be having diner with. She tells them it's Olivia... and some people from Galaxy. "Just be yourself. Who wouldn't be charmed by that?" Frank smiles at her.
Natalia arrives at Cassie's with Olivia. They laugh and Olivia thanks her for everything. She's clearly not feeling well though. Decker suddenly arrives with the Xiaos. They're ready for dinner right now... a day earlier than announced. The two women stare at each other and force smiles.

Olivia takes Natalia back to her house and explains that the governor needs her property to put in an exit ramp to the freeway. Natalia is irate. Olivia says that the governor will give her the asking price and send Rafe to a far nicer prison. "This is Gus' house," Natalia sadly says. They go inside and walk around. Natalia begins to sweep. Olivia reminds her that she never even lived in the house and suggests this could be fate. Natalia talks about everything she wanted for her son, but she can't disagree with Olivia.
When Natalia arrives at the prison, the guard forbids her to see Rafe. He explains that he has a staph infection and will have to be approved as healthy again before he can take visitors.
Olivia returns to Natalia's house. She tries calling the governor and making a new deal. He won't budge. Natalia walks in and says that she will take the deal. She lists all of the things that she wants in exchange and wishes she could be more like Olivia sometimes. Olivia makes the call and puts the deal together. They walk out and Natalia says goodbye to the house. Olivia hands her the calendar marking the days of Rafe's sentence and they walk away together.
I Hate Being a Grown-up.
Olivia runs into Natalia outside of her house. She can't understand why there is nothing inside but a calendar when Natalia can barely afford to pay her rent. Natalia won't move in until Rafe returns. Olivia suggests the house is just a shrine to Gus and tells her that she needs to get on with her life. Natalia is sick of Olivia complaining; her heart was ripped out when Gus died too. Not bothering to argue, Olivia walks off to meet with the governor.
