Natalia arrives at Olivia's. She's eager to check and see how much money she is making on her new investment. Olivia tells her the market is closed and ushers her out. Natalia is excited to go and see Cassie's house again and make plans.
Olivia and Natalia are at the Coopers'. Natalia is planning her future Thanksgivings in her new house. Olivia's uncomfortable. Across the room, Rick catches up with Reva. She tells him everything is fine. Meanwhile, Olivia approaches Jeffrey and they discuss Ava. Reva comes over and tells her how well she is doing. Emma drags her mother away. Jeffrey tells Reva that he can't be thankful while she puts her own life at risk.
Natalia's new lawyer calls. He wants to meet with Rafe right now. Natalia tells Olivia how happy she is to have invested and gained all of this money. Olivia flatly tells her that the money is gone. "I'm back to having nothing now?" she asks. She's already spent all of that money in her head. Panicking, she runs off.
Natalia goes to visit Rafe at the prison. She tells him that she bet on a long shot and lost their future. Normally she thinks everything through, but, the one time she took a gamble, she lost everything. He tries to reassure her, telling her that she will be okay. The guard leads him away. She wipes her tears away. Olivia arrives and hugs her.
Spartacus was Guilty.
In Company, Natalia asks Decker about the investment opportunity he was discussing with Olivia. He tells her that the minimal investment is a million dollars. She's sorry she mentioned it. He offers to put her money with his and invest it. Natalia wonders why he would do that. "Think of this as an early Christmas bonus... congratulations. You're a brave woman," he says. He gives her a number to call and walks off. She goes back to Cassie's and looks through the real estate flyer before having a fantasy about living in the house with Rafe while he goes to college.
At The Beacon, Natalia and Emma talk about Rafe and throw pillows. Olivia comes in and Natalia explains that she invested with Decker today. As she talks about all of the money she could make, Olivia keeps her lips sealed. Nat admits that she has to do some research into how the stock market works now. "I guess I have you to thank for all of this," she says, smiling. Olivia keeps her mouth shut and then walks out.
Am I Smarter?
Natalia brings Emma home to Olivia. She sends her daughter off to finish her homework and then points out the flyer for Cassie's house. Olivia doesn't see why they are putting it on the market when Natalia should buy it. "That sounds ridiculous," Nat snaps. She sorts out Olivia's schedule for the next few days. Olivia begins crunching numbers to prove how low Cassie's asking price is and how she can afford it. Natalia's doubtful and tells Olivia to stop acting like the boss of her whole life.
Natalia accompanies Olivia down to Towers. She's waiting for Decker but he hasn't shown up. Natalia worries. They bicker. Decker arrives and Natalia ducks away. "When are you going to let me steal her from you?" Decker asks. Olivia says he can have her when he convinces her it's a good idea. Meanwhile, Natalia bumps into Frank at the elevators. They begin talking about debt. He spots Olivia sitting with Decker and then they sit down at the bar. He tells her about the house he bought with Eleni and then she walks over to talk to Olivia while she and Decker discuss investments. Decker tells her he hopes her son is doing well and then walks off. Natalia offers to drive Olivia home. "I'm going to take a cab. That way you'll have more time to count your money," Olivia jokes.
Natalia goes to visit her son. He assures her that things are much better now that he is in a minimum security prison. He tells her that he can finish high school there and get ready for college. She's shocked. He never thought of it before, but now he feels like he has more choices.
Decker walks into Company and bumps into Natalia while she waits tables. He orders 'the greasiest thing on the menu'. She asks him about the investment deal he was talking to Olivia about and asks if it's not too late to get in.
