Mallet runs into Buzz outside of the TV station. He begins teasing him about his new ad. Buzz is inviting everyone in town to the Thanksgiving feast and won't turn anyone away. "Anyone?" Daisy asks.
In an alley, Ashlee struggles with a mugger while Grady watches. He rushes over and punches the mugger into the ground. The mugger runs off. Ashlee is breathless. Grady shrugs. Mallet runs over with his gun out and orders him to freeze. Grady holds his hands up. Buzz runs to Ashlee. She explains that she was attacked. Daisy starts to tell that Grady would never do that. As Mallet arrests Grady, Ashlee tells him to stop. Someone else attacked her and Grady is the one who saved her.
They take Ashlee over to Company. After Buzz fusses over her, he leaves her with Daisy. She confronts her friend, knowing that she was ready to let Grady take the fall. Ashlee admits it. Daisy accuses her of being just like her mom. "You're just like Harley," Ashlee shoots back. Daisy defends Grady, arguing that he's been suffering in his own personal hell for what he's done. Ashlee apologizes; she just wanted to save her friend. Daisy storms off.
Mallet walks back to Company with Grady. He tells Daisy that 'Grady did good' and walks inside. Buzz walks out and thanks Grady. Daisy tells him that she and Grady are together again and he should be allowed back in the restaurant. They walk inside and order a meal. Grady calls Buzz 'Gramps'. Daisy advises him never to do that again.
Daisy goes to see Rafe in prison. He claims that he didn't plan to trash Grady. Daisy defends Grady but he's still sure that he can't be up to anything legal with Dinah. They argue about who has made more mistakes and she insists that Grady has changed. He's tired of listening to this and wants to walk away. She stops him, repeating that Grady has changed. He's sure it's a scam and begins laughing when she claims that he's no longer being beaten because of Grady.
Daisy meets with Grady in the park. He hands her a stuffed koala and she laughs. As they chuckle, Ashlee watches from behind a tree. The couple walks over to the convenience store. She complains that Rafe and Ashlee refuse to see that he is capable of doing anything good. He can understand that. She's glad that he's the first person she loved. They hug and smile before walking back into the park. She tells him that they still have problems; she's related to half the town and they don't like him. When she suggests that he go to visit Bill with her, he turns her down.
Outside, Daisy runs into Reva. She thanks her for the advice she gave her before and hugs her. Reva cries, claiming it's just hormones, and sends her granddaughter off. Daisy goes into Cedars to see Bill. He is having tests so she calls Lizzie to check in.
Daisy spots Grady creeping around outside of the mansion and asks him why he's there. He claims that he is there to tell Dinah he's quitting. She thanks him for giving her the key back. "Thank you for taking me back," he says. They kiss. Sitting down at a picnic table, she tells him about Thanksgiving. Harley comes up but she downplays it. Grady tells her about his mother and then they discuss American holidays. When she looks at her laptop, Ashlee's blog comes up. They watch her interview Rafe. He stutters through a discussion of what's happened to him in prison, but doesn't claim to be innocent or want to make excuses for his behavior. Ashlee leads him though the interview to talk about losing his father and Daisy. He talks about how Grady killed someone and got away with it and how he framed him to be locked up. "You must hate Grady Foley very much," she says. He just wants to go home and start over.
Grady defends himself. He reminds Daisy of how much Ashlee hates him. She knows; she just worries about Rafe. He tells her that he'll be okay in the new prison he's been sent to. He got in touch with a few people he knows inside and asked them to make sure Rafe is left alone. Grady still doesn't like Rafe, but he knows this is what she would want. After he leaves, Ashlee arrives. They talk about the interview. Daisy is less than thrilled. Ashlee insists that she only wants to help. Daisy wants to help Rafe too, but not at the expense of Grady. She tells her that one day, everyone will see how much Grady has changed. Daisy wanders off, staring at the key.
After upsetting Daisy, Ashlee chases her down and tells her that she is just worried that Grady will hurt her. Daisy says she'll be fine and tells her to leave Grady alone. She reminds her that she shot a man and is in no position to judge. Ashlee still feels bad for shooting Alan and knows that she was lucky he survived, just like Grady was unlucky that Tammy died. They continue to argue about what's best for Daisy until she storms off. Ashlee makes a call to find out how late visiting hours run at the prison.
