8) I really felt for Reva today. When she felt that lump under her arm. I really felt sorry for her. I think this is a good time for the writers to fix the way they made her cancer story...I hope this time she'll be honest with the ppl she loves...(JOSH) he'll be home soon if she is...

I think this time, I read anyway that she hesitates about telling Josh, but she doesnt hold back. The writers said "sorry Cassie".

I have not watched it yet but I hope they (the writers) do not insult us cancer survivers like they did last time by having Reva keep it from everyone. That made me so mad I did not even want to watch it.It was like a slap in the face that we (the survivers) were weak because we needed our families well I know I did

Bonifay,
I hope I am not overstepping my bounds in saying this but I don't think it was the writers intentions to imply that Reva didn't want her family to know because she did not need them. I think they were trying to have Reva go about by herself because she was trying to spare her family the heartbreak of what was to come. I don't think it had anything to do with her being weak or strong. It was just about her doing what she thought would be the kindest thing for her family (although we all know that was the worst thing she could do for her family).
I agree that the entire cancer story was a true slap in the face to all cancer survivors and their families, but I don't think it was really the intention of the writers to do that. They just started something and it seems they did not know where to take it once the ball started rolling.
