Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

What I want from my soap is love, jealousy, revenge, mystery, excitement, fun, mayhem, and intrigue. I want to be able to escape from reality for at least one hour a day. I don’t want a lesson on how to be a good person, mother, friend, wife or daughter. I already know these things. I want to watch something that does not have the ultimate goal of teaching a lesson. I get enough of that from real life. I want a fantasy, something that I know could or would never happen but it gives me something to dream about.
Is that asking to much?

Sonia, exactly that is probably why I did not like the "In the Light" episodes. I want to see people do things I wish to God I could do but would never be able to. I want to see a love story that would make me cry wishing it was me. I want to see the ultimate revenge on all wrong doers.

I understand what you say Sonia. I wish the show was like it used to be. I anxiously awaited it, could hardly wait. Now, I watch, and enjoy some, but I keep wondering how they will continue to keep peoples interest enough, for a long period of time. I am really dreading the leaving of Jonathan. So much has been about him, for so long. I know the show will go on, and I hope they will come up with something wonderful.

i agree as well i can watch everyday one week and then the next i have to work on mon & tues mornings and i can usually pick right up on where i left and piece together what happen i also want more.....
