;( The parents on this show arent very reliable, Wheres Blake? she has 3 you never see them! Theres harley, she has 2, cant take care of them, someone else does it for her!!now she wants another one?? get real people!! she always working or sticking her nose up somebody elses ass. when does she even see the kids. shes not a very good mother, half the people in this show never get to a real job, because theyre to busy running around in everybody business.

I said that the shows made ther mistake when they started having all the characters have so many children,because its just not as it used to be ,whne you were happy to see them have a child . know a days they just grow up over night and who cares any more.

Years ago they use to fight in the board room Remember India? Now they all live and work at The Beacon which is no place to raise a kid.

Yeah why is it we never see Beth with James? If Alan wants Lizzies baby so bad maybe he should think about that. Even if Alan did get custody of Sarah, he would never see her anyway, the servants take care of them all the time..He has the nerve to talk about him being stable? HUH!!!!!!He needs more than Dr. Rick. That man is so sick, and obsessing over Sarah I cant stomach him anymore, along with his ugly wife too.

Well, just to be devils advocate...the writers must think that it would be boring for the viewers to watch mommy's. I mean, soaps started originally for housewives, period! They were developed to give the housewife a break in her day from doing chores and taking care of kids. They knew that the average housewife would NOT want to watch a tv show of a mommy taking care of her children. I mean, that is what they do every day. It's supposed to be a BREAK FROM REALITY. And in reality, raising kids is hard work. There is no glory in it, little excitement, and tons of thankless work. Therefore, why would we want our 1 hour break from reality destroyed by watching a woman on tv deal with the same crap we deal with? I know I would much rather watch Ava jetsetting to Paris and Reva fighting her sister than to watch Harley being a mom to Zack and Jude.
Sorry, I don't watch soaps to learn a lesson, I watch them for pure entertainment.

I understand that, but I do not like to watch Alan and Beth being psycho all the time either, and sit there and say hes stable when he and Beth cant even take care of their own kids. I enjoy watching the kids sometimes, especially, Zach and Jude, and Emma, they are so cute.

I think that if they don't want to show all of those children then maybe they shouldn't have the characters always getting pregnant. I know we really don't actually see RJ but they mention him a lot, I think they do that very well. They never mention Rocky, Susan (until now when they need her), Shane, Marah, James just dropped off the face of the earth, Come on!
