What do you all think about having an African American super couple in 2009. Think about it. Remy and new comer Christina hit it off. I believe it is past time for this let me know what you all think. I mean Remy has tried it with Tammy and Ava now I think he needs Christina. This could boost the ratings! Let me know what you think.

I don't care what Remy will be doing.Just get that man on the show more. He looks good no matter what.But i do agree with cha.100%.

Being an African-American, I would love to see a popular couple of color on GL. I've been loving all the time Remy and his family have been getting lately. That Mel just brightens my screen!

Of course, I don't want to get ahead of myself. It could be that LSV (Remy) and KM(Christina) don't have too much chemistry. I hope they DO, but I'll jsut have to wait and see.

I agree with JammyGranny being an African American myself i would love to see Remy with a Hot s/l, hopefully that would bring back a lot of African American viewers, only if the s/l is worth watching.AMC tried it years ago with Jesse/Angie and boy did they hit the jackpot with that s/l. I would love to see mel/Remy on the screen more, thats one of the reasons we stop wathching the show.

Hey there! You bring up a good point. I think they should have remy and mel in much more exciting storylines and situations. I often feel like their characters are just "sitting there". Mel has not been directly involved in drama since her and rick broke up. And i would like to see remy have drama with an african american girl. Even something suspensful/dramatic! Does anyone remember Jillie or the man who used to play the sax? Maybe they can bring them or their family back.

I think Remy & Mel's parents could be a super couple! I really enjoy when one or both parents are on the show and think GL could build more with them in the picture. Then bring in more of Remy and Mel. This could add balance to the Lewis/Spaulding family drama.

It would be great to see an African American super couple on the GL more often. Mel and Remy's parents are a good example of a stable family that people can identify with. The show could improve ratings by adding more actors that are culturally diverse and positive role models for African American viewers. Mel and Remy need more air time with good story lines.

I am an African American and we need more actors that are minorities on day time television. I have watched GL for over thirty years, it is my favorite program. I hope that the casting and directing staff will consider these request from all of us.

This Irish girls says bring it on with Remy!!!! Remy is by far the hottest on the show. I would love to see him in a love story with all the drama, he could be our new super star out of all the soaps!! I want Mel and their family onboard too, they bring sooo much to Springfield. I have one question, who is Christine??????

Christina is a new character which really is spoiler information..... She debuts the week of Oct 20th. I would like Remy to find a good love interest, I dont care what color she is I do hope he and Christina have some magic, Remy deserves a good S/L.

If they bring back more of Remy and his family, I just might start watching GL again. I have always liked Mel and she needs more on screen time, she is a beautiful woman and so, let us see more of her.I thought that she and Rick were so good together. I check in on here from time to time just to see what is going on with GL but I will not watch it until Grady and his creeps are gone!
We need more love interests and less fighting and back biting. Let Dinah and her creepy friends ride off into the golden Texas sunset and never be seen again. Dinah makes me so mad! She is one big looooooser she sleeps and has slept with almost every guy on the show she is a flip-flooper.In this day and age with all of the turmoil there is going on, we need to have a show that makes us want to watch it everyday and that we can relate to. Being maried 10 times and sleeping with everyone on the show doesn't make for a normal everyday life. WRITER'S listen up, bring back some of the old timers and give new meaning and life to GL. I have been (or used to) watch Gl for over 30 years but I can't watch it anymore. Grady, Cyrus and Dinah and Bill Lewis are screwed up characters. Give us more Jeffrey, Reva, Mel, Rick, Buzz, Frank and The Spaudling's and then bring back Mindy, Marah,Hawk,Dylan and where in the heck is Roxy Shane? One just doesn't put their kin in the nut house and forget about them.........ooops sorry, this is soap land.And how about The Reardon Family. Anyone remember them? When it was Quint and Nola, that was GL at it's best! Have wonderful day everyone.
