and the list goes on and on and on! GL is going down the drain and I think we need to post in my thread that reads Writers need to listen and post storylines!We need to save the light!GO GL AND Y&R!~ ~

I really want Guiding Light to succeed!! I have been a fan for years!! The writers really need to step it up a few notches!! I know they can not afford to bring back old characters, but why not bring a few new ones and test the waters??
We have so many amazing actors with no storylines, there are alot of starving actors out there that I am sure would work for exposure alone---add some new characters now!!!!!

Ashlee-starts to wonder about her father--who is he?? This would draw Doris in the story and the father could have a link to someone in Springfield, maybe Alan, Billy or Vanessa?? Ashlee could find out she has brothers and sisters too.

Frank--a beautiful woman is sent over from Greece by Harley to meet Frank. This could be a start of a life for Frank, and as they fall in love he thinks of Elani and the love they shared. Could Elani return to Springfield??

Jeffrey--discovers he could be a father. Did the sperm he donated many years back create Ashlee. Could be a thought!!

Dinah and Mallet get drunk one night and one thing leads to another and they have sex, in the morning they don't even remember it, but. . . Dinah finds herself pregnant by Mallet---so sad for Marina--will she fall for Shayne again??


Vanessa--finds herself attracted to Alan again since moving into the mansion. Alan pretends to return the feelings to pump her for information and Beth finds them in a romantic position....Alan really loves Beth though...but Beth does not believe him so she sleeps with Coop for revenge and finds herself liking him alittle more than she wants too!!!

Buzz--notices a new woman at Company and she looks so much like Jenna it's unbelievable to him. This could be a start of a beautiful unveiling of who she is and the second love of his life for Buzz!!

Now Guidling Light writers, we can come up with storylines for free and you are being paid--come on get those wheels turning so your fans don't switch over to another soap. We're rooting for you GL---!!!!!!

you are so right. They are slow but sure getting rid of all of the ones we have grown to love/hate and replace them with people like GRADY Give me a break!!!!! I am so disappointed in this show lately.
All of the good ones are playing smart and moving on to soaps that they think are winners. They see the writing on the wall and are jumping ship before it goes down.
To bad I really enjoy the show but sad over what has been happening.

they had the best story line going of all when then had Tammy and Jonathan and they foolishly killed her off to end any hope of her coming back.
My storyline for that is:
Tammy pretended to be dead so she and Jonathan could go away with baby Sarah and be safe from Alan.
Now there is a story line they could work with. A lot of people didn't like Tammy and Jonathan but I thought they had the best chemistry of any actors I have ever seen and I am 60 years old so believe me I have seen them all.
