Yeah. Remember the carriage house? Remember all that talk that Josh and Annie used to have about "reaching for the brass ring" together? This was before REVA, when Josh actually loved Annie. Josh and REVA ruined Annie. I was always on her side. JEVA were so evil and selfish to poor Annie. They were disgusting. And I always wanted Annie to triumph over their special brand of arrogance!

Oh YES!!! this was back when GL came on at 3pm and I was pushing second graders outta my way to bold home from school to watch all the action.

Mom and I would break out the snacks and call Granny up at 3:54 on the dot to share in the joy.

Since Reva is with Jeffrey now, they should let Shayne just visit and leave, so that they can bring Annie back for Josh. He is going to be without a woman in is life. I would much rather see Annie back than Shayne.

Gosh! Those were the days! My love for Guiding Light knew no limits (and I took every opportunity to trash GH ).

I mother-effin LOVED GL. My dad tried to turn me to B&B- because he thought Taylor was Mother Mary sent straight down from heaven above, but I never strayed.

GL was first in line and the rest of the mess came after.

I have loved this show since I knew what TV was. These characters were MY family, and they were MY friends. I had real emotions invested into them.

To re-live the memories makes me happy and sad. It's good to remember how great it used to be and it's sad to see the dust we're left with.

BR, oh how good to hear from you again. Those sweet memories will do it everytime for us, the loyal and faithful fans. When you were in second grade, I was teaching that grade. I, too, couldn't wait and bolt from the schoolhouse. I, probably pushed a few second graders out of my way too! I really enjoyed seeing Reva and Annie again. I, will also agree with you about Josh and
Reva.
They did abuse poor Annie. She was used and abused by both of them during that time. Oh, that Brass ring, good meories. That is all we have now!

This sounds so familiar. I have been watching GL for forty plus years. When I was a little girl watching GL with my Granny and aunt in the summer. We always had a garden and would break and can beans until 3:00 p.m. and then it was like "STOP TIME" for GL. It was like family was coming over. Then we would talk about what we thought would happen the next day.
My granny is now 103 and really doesn't know what's going on with the show, but my aunt and I still watch the show and talk about it.

I loved GL because you could look at the characters from this show and learn something about life and real people. Everything isn't always black and white, good and evil. GL used to be so multi-dementional. I always loved the 'bad' guys because you always saw a longing or loneliness in them that IMO- the 'good' guys had and took for granted.

Ok ok ok enough personal stuff sorry to kill the topic on to Amazing Annie!

Poor girl, she never got a break when it came to Reva & Josh......she was always pinned as crazy and Reva always won. Reva definately messed with Annie more then Annie did with her, Josh & Annie were all nice and happily married til the S1ut of Springfield decided to journey home and steal Josh. Those days were great: Annie kidnapping Reva and leaving her to die on a plane, the trial, the divorce, Annie & Alan's wedding being ruined by Reva, Annie having Reva push her down the stairs killing her already miscarried baby, Annie getting over being an alcoholic, etc............

Thank you, DM! You speak the truth. Annie was minding her own business with her very own husband (Josh) when up comes REVA from the grave, ready to steal Josh away with her lies and treachery. The Annie story was the beginning of my hatred of everything JEVA. After what they did to poor Annie, I knew that things would never be the same again. They tortured her equally. It was a tragic sight to see Annie lose and lose and lose and lose to REVA, such a loose woman of low morals and low standards.

REVA!

(Sigh...that felt good to rail against REVA again. I missed that. I need a cigarette!)

UGH so true! I also don't understand how good ol Josh could fall for Reva's treacherous lies and turn against Annie so quickly. I mean this ho marries his brother and father! I think being around Reva and her everlasting pedestal would make me go a little crazy too. Alot of crap that Jeva pulled was just downright cruel...I loved Annie especially when she attacked Reva with everything she had and no other character ever stood up to Reva like Annie did, yet of course Reva always wins.......

Reva goes to visit Annie in the hospital to find out information about Cassie and stages it to look like Annie pushes her over all these couches and hits her head and gets away with it! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrr
