STom is one of the hot topic’s what left of GL and I can understand as you like making your self very important, but it’s really time to stop. We all got it: every actor loves you, every actor is telling you his or her personal life story, and every actor can’t wait to see you and to hug and kiss you.

I don’t know what the future hold's for STom. Maybe they will be together for the rest of their lives, or maybe they will go separate ways. It’s up to them. Please stop badmouths Tom and his relationship with Stephanie. I am asking you very nice, please stop.

This is what I don't understand about you Melanie, I have never bad mouthed Tom and Stephanie. I like Stephanie a lot, she introduced me to her mother, I am happy for her and Tom too. You are the only poster who keeps insisting that I post negatively about them. I am allowed to post my opinions and I will continue to post my opinions. I don't need or want your permission to do so before I say anything connected to your favorite couple. I give you that space, please do so for me and let this be the end of the conversation. I was asked to tell about my time in NYC and that's what I did. I'm sorry if that upset you. I do not post negative posts about anyone.

Thank you so much PP for the info. Sounds like you had a great time. I could just imagine how funny Kim and Tom were. They always were close and always will be. I am certainly happy to hear the Tom and Stephanie are, let me say, still in touch with each other. It is none of our business to hear about their personal lives. But what a couple they made on GL, none can compare. I do hope it will carry on in the real life. The people who star in GL become like family to some of the viewers, like me. I love to hear about them and certainly love to hear happy things. So, keep up the great work on letting us hear a about our favorites.

Soap-ie, each year the fan club tends to be different. For ATWT, they have the luncheon, and then usually some actor has something going at a club. Trent and Michael usually have something, sometimes, Eileen Fulton (Lisa) will do a cabaret at a club in Manhatten, sometimes there is a charity walk during the weekend. You just have to wait until closer to the event and check out the soap mags and the fanclub board for other events. I am planning to go to that one also in April of 09. They do not have the number of events that GL does on their fanclub weekend in Sept/Oct. however.

Your welcome, Rosie, the whole trip was a lot of fun, and I got to see a lot of friends of GL as well as the cast. The whole morale of the actors was much more up beat than the year before, they seem to believe that things are looking up or else they just don't want to work in gloom and doom. They are all very excited over Jeff Branson's coming as Shane, as many are good friends with him and know of his work. Kim Z. is especially happy to get him since she doesn't have Tom any more. In fact, at the play reading she rubbed that in Tom's face saying, "now don't you want to come home and protect me from your brother?" on stage, he just roared with laughter at her. I had a great 5 days with friends and away from work, which is always great for me since my job is a high stress one.

Hi. I'm new to posting about GL, etc., but I wanted to know.... what is the best way to stay on top of when actors will be making appearances? I'm a long-time GL fan. Love Murray!

Hi, Murrayfan, and welcome! I keep up by looking on the soapoperaweekly.com website and click on EVENTS at the top of the page, it lists a lot of events not put out anywhere else, also all of the soap mags pick up some of the events and this board carries a lot under appearances and the GLFC website has an appearances to click on. Between all of these you will get a pretty fair choice of what's happening with your favorites. I love Murray too.

Ak, Murray emailed me that the only day they were taping that week at Peapack was on Wednesday, the day I was flying into NYC, my problem was that everyone else who wanted to go was not getting into the city until that night. They wanted to go out on Thursday but I didn't want to waste a day just looking at exteriors with no filming going on so I didn't go out to Peapack at all this trip. Most everyone I talked to about the taping said weather permitting they would keep taping out there in the wintertime and if it was too bad, they would stay at the CBS studios for interior shots.
