Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

O.K. I'm back from the Big Apple and my 5 days with the soap people. What do you want to know and who do you want me to talk about? Tom is NOT going to GH, and Jeff Branson is going to be the new Shane. I ate out with a lot of them privately so what do you want me to post about? Anything but future storylines cause when I go to the studios I have to promise not to post anything I saw so I won't. But all else is fair game.

You are so lucky!

First question. Who did you meet? Everyone? Or just some of the cast?

Well, since I already know just about all of the cast, the only new one to meet was Kane. When I got to the Bradley Cole concerts, I ran into Murray and he took me into the actor area and I told him, "remember what I wanted you to do for me at Myrtle Beach" and he laughed and said "oh, right you want to meet Kane". So he went and got Kane and said "we're going into the kitchen (where we could hear) since the concert was on. Kane kept saying "why are we here" and then he introduced me to Kane and we started talking and then he said "well, my work here is done" and left us. We just kept talking and did for the whole weekend. I really am impressed by this young fellow. I think I talked to everyone on the show that showed up. Nicole didn't come as she was finished filming Cassie that day and they had her final party. Two or three or maybe 4 didn't come to anything. But I talked to everyone else and ate out with quite a few of the guys. So who do you want to hear about?

haha. I'm jealous.

So you didn't chat with any other actor, just Kane and Murray?

So you've met all the cast....so you've met Rob B?

I don't know what else to ask, because all my questions are about upcoming s/l's and stuff.

Did you watch the concert? And if so who sang? I know Caitlin, Bradley, Kim and Mandy did. Anyone else?

Well did you get to talk with TP? Besides him not going to GH. What else have you learned? I have seen some of the pictures from the concert. Do you have any pictures to share? Love to hear anything

Tom and Kim did a killer rendition of You and Me Babe (Sonny and Cher) complete with the 80's wigs and outfits. It was a riot, course when you put these two together anytime it's fantastic. John Driscoll did a Mo Town number like the Temptations and used Lawrence and E.J. as back up singers and dancers. Ron Raines sang, Murray YES I SAID MURRAY sang, and the lady who wrote the theme song for the show sang and Ricky P. sang. I missed a lot of the second show because I was in the back with the actors and going in and out of the kitchen taking pictures and coming back out into the lobby to catch a lot of the late arrivals. All of the actors can really sing, it surprises you to see them doing something different that what you see on the show.
I talked with everyone that was there, but chatting is what I mean when I am one on one away from the fans.

Let me see, first question about Rob Bogue. He is one of my very best buds on the show. We got to spend a good bit of time together away from the fans. He is usually the one who comes and gets me and brings me back to where the actors are staying. I did talk to Ellen Wheeler some and I am going to the GL studio on my next trip to NYC where we can talk some more.
Tom is still out in L.A. auditioning. In addition to the Ghost Whisperer episode on Oct. 17th, he filmed a CSI, Miami episode that he THINKS will air the first of Novemeber, he wasn't real sure about the date. Said he had a great time filming that, he is a mobster in that one. Might go back and do another, they liked him there. Isn't planning on returning to NYC anytime soon, but is planning to be involved in the Apothecary Theatre in the city, I went to his play reading with Kim and Marcy and it was really good. He looks good, (of course, I'm prejudiced so he always looks good to me.) I was just so happy to get to hug him and hear that laugh. He just makes me happy.

LovingJammy, I don't know how to send a picture to a message board, just to a person. But I haven't even got them on a disc yet so whatever I can do is not right now. Also, Nicole is p.g and getting married. Also, Trent Dawson (Henry) ATWT's sang.

Another question:

Do you have special privilages to associate with these people and go back stage and stuff? Or can anyone go to the studios like you did?

Have you met Mandy? And if you have, I have to say I'm the most jealous about that.

You got to meet Rob..talk to Rob...I'm basically drooling and reeling with jealousy right now!

PP, How do the actors feel about the direction of the show? I know a bunch have signed long term deals, do they feel like the show is going to on air for much longer? And how do feel about the new production model?

Glad to hear about your latest escapades with all my favorites!! I love Kane, I wont ask storyline details but do you know if GL plans on keeping both our sexy Aussie's, do they hint at any new romances?? I was looking forward to Cassie and Cyrus...Cyrus's woman keep dropping...Now that Cassie's off the canvas will there be any new woman coming to town, any hint at a Harley recast??? I am glad Tom is doing well, is he still with Stephanie?? was she there?? What about Remy and Christina(Karla Mosley)any mention of this possible new love story???

I'm curious about the fan reception of Beth & Ricky. Weren't they supposed to be there and do fans seem put out with them at all?
Glad to hear you were impressed with Kane. It is hard to get a good take on him from his role!
