The "Guiding Light" Poem

Here's a poem that was served as the message for Guiding Light throughout its 71-year history:

"There is a destiny that makes us brothers,
None goes his way alone.
All that we send into the lives of others,
Comes back into our own."

So does anyone know what does the poem really mean?

I think it means that we are all connected. All of our actions affect others. If we're good, good comes back to us. If we're not, than that comes back to us too. Karma, baby.
