Hello, My name is really Mark. I've watched Guiding Light for a while now. I am deeply saddened by the very poor usage that Guiding Light has given Bradley Cole. What I mean is when Bradley Cole first joined the show as Prince Richard, It was a wonderful and entertaining story. The pairing of Cassie and Prince Richard was great. Now fast forward and Bradley Cole is back as Jeffrey O'neill. Great story until they ruined it by breaking up Cassie and him. It's even gotten worse, now they've turned the once proud and great character into a rapist, even though Olivia should take some of the blame. The show to me is unwatchable until they straighten things out. |

Hello Mark. I am sorry you feel the show is unwatchable because of one character. There is so much more to GL than just Jeffrey O'Neill. I agree that right now, his story is terrible, but if I watched the show because of just one person, then I would have stopped watching a long time ago. There are a lot of things going on right now that I do not agree with, but I will continue watching because I have grown up with it and I feel it's a part of me. Keep in mind that if you watch any soap for just one character, eventually you will be disappointed and stop watching. Give GL some time. Hopefully a lot of things will change in the new year. |

You know what, I think they are going to make a good character out of Jeffery. I think he and Ava will have a good relationship together. You can see now that they both care for each other against the odds (Olivia). |

He's not too nice for her like Josh and Bill and he's not too evil like Alan and Phillip (when she married him he was bad). He has a past, but that's just it, his past. I think he can help her put that behind her. Sadly though I think she will be distracted by Ava and Jeffery's relationship, and jealous. |

i think that they can change it from rape to voluntary after olivia realizes that she gave him mixed and remembers she wanted it just as well as him that way they dont make him out as a bad guy |

I love the character of Jeffrey O'Neill. Yes, he has flaws but he has a good heart and is remorseful and has made some mistakes but is not blaming it on anyone but himself. I think Jeffrey is a complex character and a good person. I am loving the Olivia/Jeffrey/Ava/Buzz/Coop storyline. I think Jeffrey has always tried to make a good life but maybe took some wrong paths. We have seen how good he was with RJ and Tammy. He is wanting a relationship with Ava but is afraid he will screw it up. |

I, too, love Jeffrey O' Neill and I like that he is flawed, but I do not think he raped Olivia. I think it was a case of two drunken teenagers that night and they are both to blame. Olivia and Jeffrey have the makings of a great soap story and I hope they work past all the hurt. They absolutely look wonderful together and have great chemistry. I love the new family of Jeffrey/Olivia/Ave even if they never go forward with a romance for J/O. |
