The writers do not fire someone because of a bad story line!!! The writers do not fire anyone. That's up to the producers and they fire for other reasons...budget cuts, personality conflicts, etc. Good grief, it's not the actors fault if the fans do not like the story. The writers have all the control.
As for the Cassie/Richard romance...I think the reason the fans were for it was NOT because of the actress but because everyone wanted Josh and Reva back together so in order to do that, they needed to hook Richard up with someone else. Who better than Cassie.

yeah it was alittle different with Richard but no one want Reva adn Josh a part and everyone wanted him to run right back to her after the cancer Which I think he should have.

I REALLY DON'T LIKE CASSIE AND JOSH TOGETHER ITHER,BUT REVA SHOULD HAVE HANDLED THIS WHOLE SITUATION BETTER,KEEPING IT FROM JOSH IS WHAT MADE HIM FALL FOR CASSIE,I DON'T THINK IT WILL LAST THOUGH,SIMPLY BECAUSE OF REVA STILL BEING AROUND,TOO MUCH OF A REMINDER OF THE HISTORY THEY SHARE.

Well, Jonathan found out by accident, along with Billy. Reva did not want anyone to know. She thought she could beat it all by herself and not make her family suffer. Of course, when she found out that she was losing the battle, of course she should have spoken up. That was very selfish of her. The entire situation is insane. But, that is what the writers want. They want to get us mad so we will keep watching. A happy couple is a boring couple in their eyes.

Josh and Reva will never be over!! There are no sparks at all with Josh and Cassie. Even when they are "getting it on" they are boring. All Reva has to do is walk in a room and Josh turns electric

When they first showed Cassie working close with Josh on the Veteran's project, it was about the time that Sarah came back to speak with Reva, and she visit Cassie also for Mother's Day, Cassie asked who her father was and Sarah said in time she would learn the truth, i was really hoping that the story was leading to Cassie finding out that H.P. Lewis would have been her father and she and Josh would be 1/2 siblings, but there goes my storyline, no way that will happen now. I dont like Cassie and Josh together, i wish they break up but on good terms.
