That is just plain stupid...Ashlee dropped out of school. If your under 18 you need your parent to sign, like Doris would do that (her rep and all)
And as you mention the juvie thing...is'nt she 18...wonder how she got to go to juvie then. Did she shoot him before she was 18 maybe.
NAd in SF everyone knows every ones business...why would'nt anyone mention Ashlee quit school...IMO jsut STUPID!!! Just another example of the stupid writing at times!!!!

I think she may have been sexually molested as a little girl. she lived in a trailer. Everyone knows how ambitious her mother was, I'm sure she put in many hours at work. Ashley is such a friendly girl, who knows what may have happened as a young girl being left alone. Why were they living in a trailer? Kind of far fetched to me. Come on writers, After my husband died I raised three girls on a Social worker's salary, Doris has one child why would she live in a trailer park, even on a Public defender's salary this is unbelievable. JMO

I too think that her secrect has something to do with abuse. If she did get pregnant, they could have had it taken care of at her uncle's medical clinic. As for dropping out of high school, she must have dropped back in while she was in juvie.

This "drop-out" story is so dumb! Come on, Jon took her to her prom! The Principal KNEW her and so did the teachers! When Lizzy was a ssenior, Ashlee went to the same school. That's how they friggen met!!!! Can't the writers come up with something better than that? Guess there is a reason why we are in last place on the ratings chart. Sorry, don't mean to sound harsh and bash anyone, I'm just frustrated.
