I miss that character so much! What is wrong with me? He brought intrigue and action to the show. He was a bad guy/good guy, and there wasn't a character who was unaffected by him. This show needs another Roger! My opinion only! |

agreed. You really need two bad guys to make a show interesting. Alan's great and all, but he's kinda losing it these days. Maybe it's because there's no one to challenge his "creativity." |

Roger Thorpe was the most devious of all the characters. He was evil and good at the same time. He had such a soft spot in his heart for Holly and Blake. He was the greatest villian, even Alan was afraid of him. Roger Thorpe is a legend in SF. |

No one can every replace Roger (Michael Z). He was the BEST. But, maybe with Edmund returning, we will have 2 villian's again. |

Michael Zaslow was the best Roger Thorpe ever. I miss him a lot. I thought the writers was going to let his son take up where Roger left off, but they went in another direction and I am glad that ended. |

The most gifter actor and such a wonderful character. The writers were able to write him so that we loved him and hated him at the same time. Now that was great writing! |

The way the just totally wrote that guy off was crazy! I wasn't that fond of the actor (they should have gotten someone that had more sex appeal to play the part) but the charater could have been great and a wonderful asset to have. It's just like how they wrote off AM. The true heir to Spaulding (I know Gus is a true heir but he wants nothing to do with the company), but now he is gone. Roger's son would have been great to have on the show. |

Alan never does the dirty work himself, he always hires his "people" do his evil doings for him. Roger on the other hand was always right in it, he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty & he got great enjoyment out of his evil acts.That is why he was so interesting to watch. |
