Yesterday, the answer was finally settled. The large check that Buzz was showing off yesterday from Alexandra even had a zip code that began with 627 (Springfield's zip).

At least one question has been answered for me before I die. That would have been my final breath: "Where in the hell is Springfield?" booooooooooooooooooooop flat line.

All you had to do was ask. I've known that Springfield was in Illinois forever. Didn't you ever wonder why it only took them 30mins to get to Chicago??

We always assumed it, especially since Chicago is considered across the street. But the issue was never settled for certain. I remember that recently there were mountains near GL Springfield for a certain storyline. There are no mountains in the real Illinois. I thought that was hilarious.

Sorry, but you can't get to Chicago from S/F in 30 minutes. I live in Illinois and there is no way that could happen. Fly to Chicago - 45 minutes. Done it several times. Driving - at least 2+ hours. If people from soapland make it sound like Chicago is just a hop, skip, and jump so be it. But never in real life.

Okay, they've said it before I didn't assume, plus if you read anything about GL it'll usually say so.

* I was exaggerating about the time from SF to Chicago, obviously you can't do that in REAL life, but Daisy went to Chicago and back in one afternoon, so I was going off what they do on the SOAP!
