Soaps, in general, do not show women as friends either. I love it when on the rare occasion they have the women talking and liking each other. All women know the value of that best friends ear!! There is no one like your female friends..you can be anyone with them and they love ya anyway! |

I mean Reva, acts more like a problem college kid, than a mother and a grandma  We NEED somebody.....help, please help OH SOAPLAND FAIRY GODMOTHERS  REVA is the new grandma. She's the grandmother who has her hot sex with her unmarried bedmate before the oatmeal gets cold and lies to the police to get her welfare checks, "for the children," of course  . Did you see her with Daisy in the jail, advocating prison escape for her granddaughter, too? If you're related to REVA, jail doesn't apply for you. Daisy doesn't even call her "grandmom." What's that about?

If you pay attention you can learn a lot of helpful things. They can stay!! |

She acts like she hasn't grown up at all. She, is loud, pushy and obnoxious. What worked for Reva, when she was 20, or even 30, IS NOT very appealing now. Do you see Reva working on projects that are 'outside the realm of lover or parent'??? They need to have a woman BOUNTY HUNTER, or a RECORD PRODUCING/ALBUM CUTTING GAL??? Get what I am aiming at???? Far be it from me to defend REVA, but I disagree with this. The character that you describe above is Harley: childish, pushy, loud, obnoxious and "not appealing." Well, you describe Harley and REVA, but REVA is upfront with her criminality. She will tell you, "Yea, I did it; do something about it!" It infuriates me that she gets away with such crap but it enthuses the REVAlites to no end. (sigh...  LOL) Olivia was originally planned to be that "bounty hunter," take-no-prisoners type of gal. But the character of Olivia is thankfully more multidimensional than as a gratuitous bad girl because of CC's performances. (I can watch that woman read a phone book with my tongue hanging!) That's not who she is, and it kills the REVAlites sometimes that Olivia is many times more lawful than REVA. (Ha! Hehe ) Both REVA and Olivia are strong, independent women, which is why they get married each eight months and no man--No Man!--can contain them. They are both shrews who will not be tamed. They're spectacular! WOW! Delonjo? Is that you? Did you just defebd REVA? LOL. Well either way I TOTALLY agree with you! |

I happen to totally agree with you Hunter. I have thought for a long time that the women on GL are always pining after a man. Even though they are supposedly best friends, they never show Harley, Cassie, Blake, etc. going out and having fun together. Now I uderstand that they all have families and that takes a lot of time, but I think they could manage a few nights a month to get out. I do not know what I would do if I didn't make time to go out and have fun! |
