Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I remember not too long ago that I was so bored with the character of Gus that I wanted him gone. That was before a pre-Harley life suddenly fell into his lap and he suddenly had interests outside of pleasing the petulant defacto queen. Now that this story has emerged, I'm more interested in this character than ever. Natalia and Rafe are Gus's salvation.

I am disappointed that gus and harley split up. but, as i have read in posts, you can send him my way. he quit smoking ,just so you know. he quit for harley. daisy is the reason they are split. i always have to watch when gus is on. i hope they can work things out.

ok, i might be the minority here but i love harley and gus together and i really hate what they are going through the storyline kinda of hits close to home though. i mean some people just don't understand that two parents who share a kid together still have to talk to each other even if they are with other people. like i hate it when my my dad's girlfriend would get mad b/c he was talking to my mom. like they have been divorced for 10+ years i think they are over each other. i mean i do have to admit that dylan and natalia are a bit too clingy to their exs but how in love could they still be? its been like forever since they last saw each other. dylan obviously was happy with bridgette and i'm sure natalia had someone. i think natalia and dylan should hook up or they can both be hit by a bus for all i care. i just really want gus and harley to be together! plus it would be kinda weird if they split b/c gus has gotten so attached to her boys. i'm very close to my step-dad, i mean he may not be my father but he has been and will always be my dad (just like gus is to zach and jude) and i don't know what i would do if my mom and step-dad broke up???

I just am 'not feelin' it'. While it is true, that Gus and Harley have on screen chemistry, their relationship gets a BIG YAWN from me. There really is NOWHERE to go with those two. Now, APART, alot of interesting things will be taking place in Springfield, and THATS what our beloved GL NEEDS!
I sence, that this is EXACTLY what the writers are in the process of doing, and I for one, am LOVIN' IT

So what do you wish to see happening in Gus's world?

I'm glad that Gus and Harley have split.It was time for this to happen.No couple stays together forever in soapland,they were becoming very boring,and really there was not much more they could do with them as a couple.

I just wish Harley would go back to Dylan. Gus needs to be single for a while. He could become the town s.l.u.t. Wouldn't it be great to have a male version of Reva!!!!
