Ashlee needs to get over whatever it is that is keeping her from becoming involved with Coop. He obviously cares for her, but she just keeps turning him down. She likes him too. So why can't she just move it along?

Hunter, do you think Ashley has had a bad encounter with a man in the past. She always withdraws away from Coop whenhe gets to close to her. Will that be the next storyline? She didn't seem to shy at first around him, but lately when he wants to be alone with her, she withdraws . The writers must have changed the s/l a bit to make her character more exciting to the fans. Right now she is a dud. No where to go with her. I like the Ashley charaacter, I just wish they would give her something to bite her teeth into. Coop, is not going to do it. She needs a s/l and real quick before the fans turn on her.

Merrymarry you're right. She didn't seem this shy before. Not with anyone, but now she's acting weird. I have already decided that she's not one of my favs. She's boring & goofy. I don't know what the writers can do with her at this point. I hope there's something there that can explain what's happened to her character. But as for now, I can't stand watching her and coop.

Barrie, When someone starts a topic that Coop and Ashley are boring, then you know we are not alone in out thoughts about Ashley. The program willbe on in 15 min. for me, and I amlooking forward to see if these two characters are in it today. Give her a break, and write her a good story, yells the fans...

I really like Ashlee even if she does have some hangups after all look at the way her mother treats her. They need to have some kind of s/l for her a Coop but not some type of teenybopper story, the're not juvenile.No offense to Ashlee but she's got to lose that laugh,gee I hope that's not for real. If it is I apologize.

She's so annoying. She's not a real character, she's a tool and that's why I don't like Ashlee.

A good plot and Coop...aren't they oxymoronic. I don't think they both can mix.

No the entire character of Ashlee makes no sense at all. She was brought on the show as an insensitive, blackmailing, scheming, lying wench. Then we're supposed to feel all sorry for her, then she shoots Alan. All the sudden she's a victim of, this and that.

It makes no sense. The writers use Ashlee as a tool, she's not a real character with a pattern of behavior. She's good when the writers want her to be, she's bad when the writers want her to be, she's pathetic, strong, only when the writers want her to be, she has no traits, she's a tool

Maybe the core story is schizophrenia. We never know which version of Ashlee we are going to get day in and day out. Will she be strong with her mother? Will she cry? Will she shot Alan? Will she cry? Will she go on a date with Coop? Will she cry? Will she stand up to that juvie tramp? Will she cry? Will she run away? Will she cry?

You get the picture. It's disgusting and tiresome.
