Guiding Light - MESSAGE BOARDS

I heard or might have read it in CBS Soaps magazine, that David Andrew MacDonald is returning to The Guiding Light? Is this true? I stopped watching on a regular basis, mainly because of the T/J sl, and then Cassie's downward slide into the great unknown...!

If Edmund returns, I'm glued !!!

I read that he and Bil Lewis was coming back to the show. How long either one stays wasn`t decided yet. Hope this helps some? Not sure the due date can`t remember.

I, for one will be glued to the T.V. I have always been "stuck" on Edmond. I hope it is not just for a month. He is a well liked character, maybe TPTB will see how the ratings will go up and decide to keep him on for a long time. He has been missed!!!! He is such a troublemaker,love, love, love him!!

What an actor!!!!! He could always be depended on to stand up to REVA and call her BS exactly what it is: BS. His final Cassie years never happened. I didn't watch and what I don't watch doesn't exist. I watched the beginning of Cassie/Edmund, but that and other things I needed to protest made me stop watching.

I heard that the end was good. But I couldn't get thru Harley being CEO of Spaulding and Edmund/Cassie.

You missed the Dinah/ Jonathan romp???

I saw the beginning of it. Even their excellent acting couldn't put lipstick on the pig that was the horrendous GL writing back then. I think I didn't watch for a little over a year. I returned to watching the first day of Cassie's recast.

Forget all that Jammy shhh that was the real deal!!! Gina and Tom at their best, and that's when they were dating. Talk about smokin hot, the screen and been lit up the same since.

I loved when he called her "Dinahmite." They were amazing together. Their off-screen relationship was obvious then. But the balloon popped and, I guess, they didn't want to work together anymore.

That ruined a real positive force on the show.
