Either Grant or no Philip, and not crazy! Philip is a Spaulding by name not genes. I didn't like the other recast. He wasn't Philip. God, I must be a Grant Alexander fan!

We love you Grant but the show must go on. It has been long enough to let by gone be by gones or to move on. The stories are calling for Phillip again and so are the fans. One way or the other give us a Phillip!

We love you Grant but it has been enough time for you to either forgive or not. It is time for Phillip to come back the stories are yelling for it and so are the fans! So give the fans what they want Phillip new or old.

Disrespect. The guy got fired, he doesn't want to come back, and GL doesn't want to recast. Period. He's got better things to do where he's certainly making more money.

Absolutely right, Revasfan! It has been stated time and time again that Grant Alexander does not want to now, or ever, return to GL...enough said! They could, however, cast some other actor in his role...we will have to see what TPTB plan to do in future, if anything! jdvermeer

But the pivotal character of Phillip should not be held hostage by the diva-like antics of one actor, regardless of how good that actor is. He should be grateful to have the blessings that have been given to him and to have a once-in-a-lifetime character to call his very own. Most actors would kill for his privileged situation.

Actors are a dime a dozen. Let's get crackin' on a recast. I'm disgusted, if you didn't notice.

Philip was always one of my favorite characters. I would love to Philip come back, if for no other reason to redeem the character from the horrific way they wrote him out of the show. I have to confess that I have mixed feelings about someone other than GA playing the role. The other person who played the role was terrible, but I would prefer to have the character come back than to have him running around crazy somewhere. I hope when he comes back we find out that Alan was giving him LSD or something to make him act crazy.

I was just reading SID, and it says that Ron Raines told SID he doubts that Grant Alexsander would return to G/L. Mr Raines says that Mr Alexsander is directing at AS THE WORLD TURNS and the chances of him returning are very very slim.Then he adds,so go on to another rumor!'
