Definitly, there are so many ways that Phillip could be used in the s/l's. So much trouble could be caused. Goody goody. A recast would be fine. Is that why they arent bringing Phillip back? Man they are missing so many good stories by not bringing him back. If they needs some help just tell them to ask us and we can give them a ton of ways to use him. The only thing we ask is a for a hot hunk. We like someone to give us a little show in our morning or afternoon whatever the case may be. Any final choices can be refered to me for approval.

Yes bring back Grant Alexander !! he's the only Phillip as far as im concerned.

O.K. Delonjo let's part company again. I knew we would before too long! Grant should and could expect to be treated better by GL and P & G after being on the show and playing the character of Phillip for 22 years. He was dumped with little or no fanfair. Loyalty is a two way street and he was always the consumate actor and very professional. Showed up for work prepared, on time and delivered. No one deserves the treatment he got. What shocked TPTB was that the fans stood up for him and so they tried to go back and get him and surprise, he wasn't interested. He likes directing at ATWT and his other projects and isn't really interested in bailing GL out of their bottom feeding ratings position. I'm not sure if he will ever return but I don't like the idea of recasting. The part has always been Grant Alexander and I think it always will be. JMO, of course.

I say, next too. I am willing to have a recast of Phillip. We can overcome GA. This is his choice to not come back, so let's move on. Actors are everywhere in New Yord. I 'm sure there is a "new" Phillip chomping at the bits to get a chance to be on the GL. Casting directors, start your engines and start looking for the new Phillip.

I don't see what good it would be to bring him back. I say no, leave him gone.

I don't know about all that stuff on GA I heard something totally different. They asked him to leave due to the $$$ issues and he was having problems with other co-stars. If they felt like they made the right decision then they wouldn't have eaten crow twice to try to get him back.
I also don't know where the 'whining' and what not came from. I never heard him say anything negative about GL.

Why should he come back, he works on ATWT now as a producer and he's into animal rights and stuff. He's not acting anymore.

Revasfan: Reva herself(Kim Z) did a large interview in SOW and was quoted by others on the stage with him that there were NO problems between the cast and Grant. They all loved him and that the GL people started that rumor as retaliation because he wouldn't take a pay cut. Neither would Kim Z. soon after that. If they stood behind their decision, they wouldn't have gone back to him several times trying to get him back on the show. Crystal Hunt (x-Lizzie) said that they still contact him frequently to see if he wants to come back. I don't think that GL believes fans want another playing the role, but we shall see.

My point is not to bash GA. My real point is that the character is being held hostage due to backstage political nonsense. GL, the show as a whole, must move on. We've all had wonderful memories of GA in the role. He's chosen to turn his back on GL. Phillip is far too necessary, especially now, to keep pretending that there isn't a problem. The only way to fix this problem is to crap or get off the toilet.
