I don't want this marriage to end. BE was simply brilliant yesterday, from funny to sad and from comedy to drama. I thought her final performance before her vacation was great. She topped herself again. So utterly natural at conveying all emotions. That bathroom scene with RPG/Gus was amazing, especially the funny parts with Harley throwing toilet paper at his head. I was rolling on the floor with laughter at that one. |

WOW!!!! We agree on this topic! You said it exactly as I have been saying all along. But, your wording was so much more sweeter! |

As I watched this ep with my family last night, I was disturbed when Gus had to say goodbye to Nat by the bar when he and Harley were about the leave the party. I would have slapped the crap out of him. What's wrong with Gus? You can't do that kind of sh** in front of your wife. There has to be some shred of dignity for Harley - even after making the mistakes she has. If Gus were truly sorry, he would not continue to pamper Nat's feeling. I've been married 17 years and I DARE my hubby to treat another woman like that in my presence. For now, and only for now, I sympathize with Harley. Yesterday was a brillant performance by her. But, as Gus stated at the end, that is where he WANTED to be - with his son and that has to be hard. |

You are so right about Gus touching Nat's hand. He is just such a caring man, I don't think he wants to hurt her. I understand as a wife, I would not have liked it either, but, again, Gus is Gus. I don't think he understands that he is hurting Harley any more then he has already. I think this move away from Harley, might do her some good. It will give her time to think and miss him. She said yesterday, she missed him while she was away. This is a start of her feelings toward him. Gus, needs to attend to his son now, but also stay away from Nat. Is that possible, both of them living in the mansion? That remains to be seen, and watch we will...... |

That hand stunt that Gus pulled would have had me temporarily revoke my "no hitting at any time" rule. |

That remains to be seen, and watch we will...... It's because they don't have discussions. They have constant arguments, as Zack and Jude displayed. No party gets any points across in the midst of an emotional breakdown. In a war, the first victim is the truth. I believe that Gus does understand what he's doing. He's just taking a page from Harley's book: wanting to have it both ways. I guess he never learned that when strong emotions such as this arise, the only way to settle it is to be firm and clear. You can't sit on both sides of any fence. This move away is a bad decision, IMO, all the way around the bend. It's the first step towards divorce, which is the most difficult and painful. It's easy to walk away. They both copped out, IMO. When Harley said that "this isn't working," what Harley really wanted was for Gus to protest in the extreme and demand to fix their marriage. Harley again tried to manipulate a situation and failed. That's what playing games and emotional dishonesty will get you. Aloneness. The final line from my favorite film The Women, "Pride is something a woman in love can't afford." Pride goeth before the fall. |

As I sit here watching today's ep., Gus is so full of guilt and remorse, he is hurting too. I feel they will work through the worst problem their marriage has encountered since the wedding. BE ,is so good. Won't say anymore, but, Gus will make it work.....As Harley, told Dylan "We, will get through this, we always do! You will love today's show.....We used to get the GL at 3 in the afternnoon, but, this 10 A.M. time is great. I don't have to wait until the middle of the day for each episode. The light is improving everyday. The writers got it together, again..... |

It was very touching when Harley said that it wasn't working and Gus agreed. My heart really went out to Harley. I would guess that she wanted more out of Gus, but that just didn't happen. It is a bad decision to separate, especially when he's going to the mansion. I'm beginning to think that Gus enjoys being in the fire. He keeps running towards it. Anywho, this proves that Gus still has "something" for Nat. He knows she lives there as well. They can't avoid each other in the house. On top of all that, he knows how she feels about him. He's being a huge a$$. |

Yeah. I agree Mary. They struck a raw nerve with this story. I love it. It's realistic without all the life-and-death emotional manipulation of a big cancer story or Jonathan beating his chest in another rage. I do believe that Harley and Gus have the most realistic marriage in daytime. |

Harley revealed her vision of Gus in the bathroom scene. She imagines him as a completely loyal and mindless lapdog for her to control. She really admitted that in so many words. Gus and Harley need to get it together. I truly believe this is one soap marriage that break all the current soap rules and last. Gus needs to stop making love out of nothing at all with Nat and tell Harley that she will not let him slip away. She wants to be Scarlett O'Hara. You know that famous scene in Gone With The Wind (book and film) where Rhett and Scarlett are fighting at the bottom of the stairs. When she says something especially tart, he grabs her, takes her upstairs. The next morning, she awakens and sighs like she's never sighed before. We know that Scarlett is sat-is-fied. That's what Harley really wants. A man as forceful as she is. Gus is forceful in a different manner. Harley needs to stop playing these deceitful games. Gus wants and really loves her. He's merely idealizing Nat. His memories of her aren't real today, and vice versa. |
