Did anyone else catch the similarities between Coop's revelations of his feelings for Ashlee and Darcy's first proposal to Elizabeth in Pride and Prejudice??? I thought this was great!!!!

Kudos for Ashlee for telling him off!!! He deserved it. Hopefully, Buzz will set his kid straight!!!

I was really impressed with Caitlyn's acting today. She is getting better everyday. I was not crazy about this character at all when it was first introduced. The character was silly and really got on my nerves, but as she has developed she has grown on me. I really enjoy this character now and Caitlyn is doing an awesome job. I was proud of her today when she gave Coop a piece of her mind. She was not going to allow this other guy into her bed and Coop had no right to intrude the way he did. She is a much more honorable girl than Ava. Although, I am worried about her drinking. I think she may have a drinking problem. She was downing that drink like it was ice water, not even making a face. Yeah, it was not her first time hitting the bottle.

If I had a mother like that I would drink too. Although when I was a teenager I had a Dad who was similar in a lot of ways. Come to think of it, I was close to being a juvenile acoholic myself. Parents will drive you to drink. My dad still makes me want to drink! Although, I don't. I just hope Coop sees the signs and stops this before it gets serious. I really want them to get together.

Ashlee was right not to just jump into Coop's arms when he came over after breaking up with Ava. He was being wishy washy about his feelings for her. But, I do hope they become a couple eventually.

You are so right!!! Pride and Prejudice is my favorite book, and that is one of my favorite scenes in all of literature! I can't believe I didn't notice that. I loved that scene yesterday, and I definitely think Caitlin Van Zandt should save that for an emmy reel. Ashlee is the new Lizzy--Bennett that is!! Great post!

Color me shocked, but I really enjoyed Coop's and Ashlee's scenes yesterday. I know...I'm beside myself, too.

Coop's portrayer (name?) was particularly watchable because he successfully conveyed Coop's thought process and trepidation. Van Zandt's (Ashlee) performances are always good, but I was never won over by the triteness of the storyline. I mean, am I supposed to feel sorry for her particularly because she's big? Being heavy (and having a real narcissist for a mother) is not an instant tear-jerker sitch for me, IMO. I need more than to feel pity, and that's the Ashlee's stock and trade. Shooting a man in the gut doesn't inspire sympathy from me either.

Anyhoo, they were both solid yesterday and the writing was pretty good, if predictable. Yesterday was the first time I enjoyed watching them -- EVER.

I apologize, Delonjo, you did get it! Coop (John Driscoll) and Caitlin did make for enjoyable watching yesterday. I am amazed to be agreeing with you. I thought you posted to make all of us women disagree. Nice to know your other side.
