Barrie, yes, we are adults, but I am like some of the Reva fans and Olivia fans, I take Jeffrey insults personally, especially if something is not true about what he did. He didn't put anything in her drink. I haven't missed a minute of Jeffrey so I know exactly what he has done and not done. Basically, Jeffrey is a nice guy, although flawed like all soap characters.

I think if Olivia is willing to accept his "apology", then we ought to move on too. Last word from me on this subject. Forgive and try to forget,apparently Olivia has forgiven him and moved on......

The ep where they went in to the details of the allegged rape portrayed Olivia as a wide-eyed innocent looking for excitement, she crashed a party, disobeyed her parent and got in over her head. Jeffrey wasn't much more "experienced" than Olivia. He didn't realize it was rape because Olivia did not speak up or fight or anything that would give a clue to her partner that it wasn't what she wanted. It wasn't vicious. I've often wondered what turned Olivia into such an emotional cripple. It could not have been that gentle 'RAPE". It may have been that Jeffrey was sent packing right afterward and she didn't get a chance to vent her steam. But, that seems pretty lame also. What did turn Olivia into such a witch? As for Jeffrey, he didn't have a good life either but he developed some principles...(not like Josh, however...lol). He tries hard to understand & support the people close to him, even when they do wrong things. Why do you think he became a lawyer? ...think about it.
He can be SF's greatest male character if the writer's give him a chance....(much better, more loving, compassionate, fun and fairly un-judgemental than Josh ever was).

Well said, wynn. I think Olivia has so much guilt in her over the death of her mother. Do you remember that from the storyline? She defied her mother, and went out, when she was told not to, and fooled around with Jeffrey and got pregnant. She has made her life a living hell, trying to put the blame on Jeffrey all these years. She is her worst enemy!! Guilt, has ruined many a person.

iIthink we will always have this hatred going on between O and R. It has been going on for years with these two characters. Since I read the CC has signed a new 3 year contract, that means we will have this war going on for quite awhile longer. There has always been a one-up going on with these two, since the Reva and Richard days. I do love the war that these two are fighting now. A one on one battle between two diva's is fun to watch.

Righ on! How could he have known he was a father. Olivia, has to take equal blame in this so-called rape. Jeffrey, had a difficult life, too. He has turned it around and is now the good guy. I love Jeffrey, and the warmth and kindness, he is showing to his new found daughter, Ava. He is caught in the middle of a battle that has been going on for years. Olivia, doesn't love him ,she is in competetion with Reva. Always has been ,and getting the attention of Jeffey, will not stop this character war. Once she snags him, she will thrown him to the trash pile. Heartless woman.

Jeffrey definitely took advantage of Young Olivia...but I'm not sure if that would be considered rape. She went to the party when she was underaged but tried to play off that she was of age. Jeffrey couldn't have known that she was underaged. They both got drunk & things happened. Olivia didn't resist his advances & he didn't violently attack her. I think the attraction Olivia is having towards Jeffrey right now is about a desire to make sense of their one night stand. Jeffrey isn't on the same page as Olivia. He isn't willing to reopen that chapter in his life. As far as he is concerned that chapter will remain closed forever.

Olivia was young (16) but so was Jeffrey (18) and an 18 year old boy is about the same age mentally as a 16 year old girl. They both made a mistake that night. Good lord, people should be able to live down mistakes made when they are teenagers. I agree, Karrie, Jeffrey did not know Olivia lied about her age. She also had a flask she was drinking from when she arrived at the party. Jeffrey and Olivia need to move on from that night.
